Gay Marriage: High Court Sets Stage for Historic Ruling
Stonewall replied to DomesticViolenceByProxy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Back to the OP. Scalia, Thomas and Alito will vote to uphold the ban. Roberts will probably give in. He and Kennedy will vote with Kagan, Ginsberg, Breyer and Sotemeyer. No doubt at all how the previous four will vote. JMO. -
Having DFACS on you is like having Barney Fife investigating cyber crime. Another example of how useless government agencies are. Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars going to a totally inept, ineffective, broken arm of government. The freaking case workers and liberal ass judges should receive the same sentence as this whore. Maybe they would do their damn job if their own neck was at risk.

OK ya'll know I am a DAWGS fan and I will not back down from that regardless of the season they have. OSU is one of the only teams outside the SEC that reminds me of SEC style football (before the Sandusky scandal Penn State was another). Straight forward, in your face, power football. No gimmicks. I have to admit (as a DAWGS fan) and any one who is honest should admit Meyer is as good as any present day college coach. Yes as good as (hold your ears darling) Saban. I have no proof other than my friends to verify but I picked OSU over Oregon as soon as they were matched up, but I did pick them

Have always got up early between 4:30 - 5:30 am whether in school or working. Never had the life style to watch late night. However that does not mean I never watched late night shows. From my admittedly limited knowledge Carson was the King. JMO.

Zimmerman arrested again......................

Refer to the fifth amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Also Miranda vs. Arizona (1966). The prosecution could not "force" him to testify. This guy is a loser and his day will come but it has nothing to do with the Trayvon verdict. -

Sherriff Underwood is a MAN. For those of you who think there is no such thing left I say there is one in SC. Nothing but respect from this Southern Boy. Kudos Mr. Underwood and may God Bless. -
Elly May was my first crush. Beautiful, kind and could out shoot or out wrestle any man I know. Ya'll remember when the Clampetts were shooting and striking matches and the end of the cement drive way (supposedly about a quarter mile away). Jed was using a muzzle loader, Jethro used a Winchester 78, Granny used a shotgun and Elly used a flip (slingshot for you Yankees). What a gal. RIP lovely lady.

Where are all the obnoxious Roll Tide bandwagon fans this morning? Ok that is a little harsh but you all know the woods are full of them around here. I do think UA is one of the best programs in the country with one of the best coaches in the country. I am not insulting you UA fans who have been behind Bama your whole life or at least for the last several years. I am talking to the "band wagoners" that you see around town with their brand new Tide hats, shirts and hounds tooth window stickers. I think they have Oregon and Buckeye hats at Academy Sports if you hurry and get their before the ot

The Falcons have too many issues to cure with one move. Smith is probably gone and that is the way the NFL works. We have an owner who is a lot better at business than football and needs to be less hands on and hire good people to delegate the running of the team. I am sure he does not decide which lumber to purchase at HD on a day to day basis he has people who do that for him. Matt Ryan appears to have Bartkowski syndrome with a Peyton Manning envy thrown in. He can certainly play well in the pocket but crumbles under pressure with a pitifully slow release and bad decision making when throwi

I could seriously care less about a crappy "Hollyweird" movie with crappy D-list stars in it. More main stream media hype to keep the uninformed voters eye on something trivial and off the destruction of our country by crooked ass politicians from both parties. North Korea is a stone aged country with zero clout and no economy. A Reagan like strong leader would bankrupt them in six months. The Russians were a hundred times more formidable than this spoiled brat buffoon in North Korea and we collapsed their entire Soviet Union structure. Grow a set Hussein O. -
Joe Cocker was an original. Soulful, bluesy kick ass rock and roller. No pretention, no auto tune, no light show, no make up, no gimmicks just a powerful voice that could only come from the soul. When he sang you felt it which to me is the greatest compliment a singer can be given. If you watch the uncut Woodstock video he does not disappoint putting 110% into his performance. Everybody knew his name after that show. RIP Mr. Cocker.

If anyone regardless of political beliefs does not see the media instigating and being complicity in the death of these officers you are quite frankly an idiot. There were 130+ CHILDREN murdered in Pakistan this week. The news coverage was subdued at best because all the freaking limp wristed SOBs that control the media had to take up all the air time with race baiting stories about a dead thug in MO and a stupid hacking of one of their beloved Hollyweird studios. Where is the outrage from these do gooder holier than thou activists and Hollyweirdos? Think about it, CHILDREN MURDERED by the hun

My Grandmother who I loved dearly and still miss every day passed away in 1992 at 83 years of age. She told me the story many times of her elderly black neighbor when she was a child probably around 1919 or the early 20's. The neighbors name was (sp) Partheena Winston and had been a slave around the Atlanta area before the American Civil War. My grandmother said that she was told by Partheena that on the plantation when crops were low the master gave the pot liquor from the greens to the slaves and that was all they had to feed their families at times. It is strange how you remember certain st

Last Week's Missing Girl Suspect Arrested

Good job Officer Johnson. This is what the vast majority of officers do on a daily basis. Ask her parents if their rights were violated or the officer over stepped his bounds. Where are the riots? -
Hate to burst your bubbles but the Falcons are at very best a mediocre team and probably closer to a bottom third of teams in the league. I know the O-line has been devastated with injuries so don't harp on that. The receiving corps cannot stay healthy or play consistently. D-line pathetic pass rush, below average against the run. Will not even mention the secondary other than to say they are as good (bad) as usual. Special teams are not special. Coaching staff needs to go. If you cannot be competitive (I mean Superbowl contenders) with the players they had the year before last, you ain't gonn

The match up between Alabama/Ohio State is really a match up of the two best coaches in D-1 as much as it is two good teams. I do not believe Ohio State should have leap frogged (no Horned Frog pun intended) Baylor or TCU. That part was strictly politics and money. However they are a good team and will show up to play. FSU could not be left out due to their record whether you like them or not (I am more not). They find a way to win games that is a huge intangible. If you want to talk strength of schedule, who has Oregon played, I think they are over hyped as much as Notre Dame who continues to

Thanks for posting this vid. I have never seen a live action of Charlie Brown Christmas. The blond playing Sally is a little too hot for a kid's show but the little dude in the yellow hat playing Linus is a dead ringer.

I have been commenting every week on the UGA games but I have been traveling or out of town the last two weeks so I have only listened on the radio and watched high lights (lowlights) on ESPN. I will have to give this lose to the UGA coaching staff. I guess Mark Richt in particular since heavy lies the crown. WTH squibb kick with 18 seconds on the clock up by three. Why in the hell would you risk giving great field position to the opponent when a field goal means a tie? Kick it deep. Tech moves the ball effectively but they eat up clock doing it. They are a run oriented offense make them pass
