My point is you cannot just go through a drive through, order a gun and pick it up at the window like most of these anti-gun folks seem to portray. I was also conveying the fact that most of the anti-gun people have never tried to purchase a gun so they have no idea the steps involved. There are background checks and federal paper work involved. Believe me if your background does not come through clean or your ID and residence is unclear they will not sell you the gun. That was my point not the speed in which you purchased a gun.

Apparently none of you has purchased a hand gun lately. You don't just walk in and walk out with a gun. There is a mountain of paper work and a back ground check even in the most open of right to carry states. The vast majority of hand gun crimes are not heat of the moment domestic cases.
