  1. Stradial, all landings are controlled crashes, his was just uncontrolled and may be a little off course or on course if you like. Main thing is that any landing you walk away from is good.
  2. I told my niece that I'd just use a belt sander, stopped all of her ideas about tats.
  3. Don't like the idea of any one with a few dollars to through away on a drone and handy cam invading YOUR privacy from the air? A new wed site, started by seven drone manufacturers, lets you put your property on a no fly zone. Using soft ware updates to create geo-fences around your property that most private drones won't cross. This doesn't go as far as making it illegal for them to fly over as it should, but most of the folks that make these things do acknowledge that most folks do live private lives and don't want to end up on u-tube. And that these people shouldn't have to protect that rig
  4. Is it just me, or does that look like a "Adam's Apple" in Brian's profile pic ?
  5. If you've already got a ridge vent, then the power vent will not work right. It'll just pull the air IN from the vent and not from the gable or cornice vents. Sounds to me like the inso. contractor covered or blocked the vents when blowing the attic. They make styro foam "troughs" that are about three feet long and go between the rafters to keep an open air space and keep the inso. from blocking existing cornice vents. They are a PAIN to put in after the fact, but can, and should be installed to keep air flow at a max. I Hope this helps.
  6. Fruit flies will live in amount of standing liquid. Drains and empty soda cans, but empty beer cans are the worst, that's why some folks call them drunkard or drunk flies. They do make commercial traps for them, but if you'll put some apple cider vinegar in a pint mason jar with a few drops of dish soap then place plastic wrap over the top with a few small holes in it and use the ring to hold it in place, makes a much better trap. It works for about two months at a time. The eggs are brought in on fruit and veggies so wash them all before storing them and keep a second, small trash can for bot
  7. That was so that the Dawg fans could understand. No, not really, you can thank spell check for that one. I'm quite sure that my 5th grade English teacher invented spell check, we were taught phonics before there was phonics. No male that went through the Cobb Co. penal.... er...public school system in the 70's & 80's can spell very well .LOL!!!
  8. Just goes to show, that even the highly educated can play a game of football. Even using, at it was stated above...er.. a high school offense. Now if they can just manage to beat FSU next week, and if the Noles don't start playing better than they did in this first quarter against the Gaters, 4 ints., who knows? Tech has won 2 out of 3 in recent history, so maybe.
  9. About that NEW Bulldawg bark? YIPE! YIPE! YIPE!
  10. Any one know the price of non-ethanol gas at the corner of McLand Rd. and Bobo Rd. before I head that way? Thanks.
  11. I wonder how much offense the Brits would take to just leaving them there? They may want to fight to make us take them back, but that's O.K., England's record at fighting is about as good as the fowl-ups at football.
  12. Soooo, the English want to have an NFL team? Just leave the FOWL-UPS there, and make everyone happy. That is until the Brits figure out that they can't play rugby either.
  13. For those that used to patronage Hiram Station I bring sad news of Papa Bill Napiers passing today. I haven't any details, but will add them as I find out.REST IN PEACE PAPA
  14. I never said that you didn't, and I'm glad to know that your's is well kept and you know where it is at all times along with all of your OTHER attach....er.. atributes that one might give up durring nuptuals. I got mine back in the devorce, and have the papers to prove it. I just ment that the little black book might have gotten the parts of the anatomy a little off. Nothing personal intended. On a side note my devoce trial was the only time that I ever saw Judge F. laugh in all of the years that I've known him, the stuff that I made my att. ask for were totally rediculus, but WELL thought out
  15. Yeah, something tells me that it wasn't a rib that Adam gave up, but his spine.
  16. When they get to England next week, just leave them there. Let them swim home or maybe they can get jobs as consessionieers at rugby games and learn how to tackle. That or stop constuction on the new dome and let them play in the dirt lot for a few years, maybe they'll get the idea.
  17. If not empty on arrival, empty them just after, then walk right back out.
  18. I had a friend with the exact same house lay out. There are two in the front left and the master is in the back left, then there is prob. one down stairs in the area that is not considered in the "heated living space" on the original floor plan, but has been added in.
  19. Heck, I'm not much on ANY ads on t.v. now a days. Only two have ever really caught my attention and then choaked me up. The first was a Bud ad a few years ago that had an airport full of folks start clap'n for returning soldiers. I now have a second. I just saw one where a todler was hugging a wall hung "fat-head" poster of his deployed Dad. Man that hit home HARD.
  20. A little off subject. My Mom, the middle of nine siblings and in her mid eighties, keep wondering why she's the only of her sisters or brothers that ALWAYS get invites from EVERY grand something or other to a bridal or baby shower. I told her it's because she keeps going and bringing a check, if she showed up just once with a cheep six pack or bottle of MD 20-20, the invites just might stop. It's alway's worked for me.

    Coyotes

We put in at Franklin this spring, and headed north up to the shoals. I saw two above there, both over 5 ft. Some folks on GON have mentioned seeing them almost as high up as Carolton, but I haven't put eyes on them that far up yet. The GDR caught one close to the I-285 bridge two years ago, must have been a scout. If the winters stay cold like they have been, that'll slow them down a little, but not much.

Yeah, you can kill all of them you can get a shot at, I for one recomend this stratagy. Don't bother with hiring a "trapper" or trying to trap them your self if you think that it's "more humane". By Georga law, you HAVE to kill any wild animal caught in a trap. All a trap does is make them easier to hit. This all started years ago when the fire ants moved north, they are the prefered food of armadillos, or as I like to call them, possum on the half shell. Well they followed, and then came the yotes to eat them, but they found out that your pets are easier to peel. It won't be long before the
  23. First chance that I've had to put the fan in the window blowing in and turn the a/c off. Dang what a good nights sleep.
  24. We use to call those B.C G.'s in the service. As in Birth Control Glasses, and they seem to still be working.
