Lawsuit filed on Paulding deputy Brandon Howard
ChocoMare replied to WorriedDad's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I haven't a clue about what you're posting about, but you may want to ask your lawyer(s) about this thread because, if I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut, my fingers still and let the lawyers do their thing. You may be hurting your own case.- 217 replies

I will miss waving to her. But what a joy to know that she has been healed for All Eternity and sits at His Feet!!!!

None of us deserve forgiveness. It is a gift of Grace.

Luci Swindoll, sister of the preacher, Chuck Swindoll, said it best: Forgiving someone doesn't make what they did right. It releases YOU from the burden of bitterness. Another of my favorites: Refusing to forgive someone & carrying bitterness/anger towards them, is like taking poison expecting the other person to die.

Interesting article -- rather sad, too. http://www.thestrang...nt?oid=15337239 While this info doesn't make me cynical or paranoid/suscipicious about Pcommers or other online folks, it does make me cautious

These older cars remind me of the Chrylser Cordoba commercials with suave Ricardo Montalban. "Rich Corinthian leather" Kinda sad to find out later that there's NO such thing as Corinthian leather.

Awwwww, you should have taken a picture of it for Cake Wrecks!

Remember it flooding and having to take a screw driver or Bic pen to shove it in the carbeurator? Nothing like doing that at a major intersection, while rude people honked at you.

Like this one 1974 Dodge Dart - slant six but in Puke Army Green. Mini Tank -- lost her when a dumb broad wasn't paying attention on an iced-over 4 lane... slammed on her brakes to avoid a cop, slid allllll the way over to my far right lane and hit me head on.

Another Duncan Hines vote.... moist, easy and fail-proof.

I bought a heavy duty top loading GE from Sears about 8 years ago. Works fine, even for heavy things. BUT when she goes, I will by golly own a Speed Queen. Truly, they have not wavered away from their solid manufacturing process, using quality metal parts instead of cheapo plastic. If commercial laundromats across the nation buy 'em, it's for a reason.

If it's truly fresh and also offers fresh fried seafood, I'll be on that place like white on rice.

Oh I totally understand about the $$$ in the meat. BUT I only lay that out when I'm truly doing Chili for Competition. For home or in a hurry/tight budget, substitute 3 pounds 80/20 ground beef and 2 pounds Stew Meat, cut into small pieces. The long, slow cooking time in the crock pot will make that stew meat sooooo tender!

Yes, twice through the grinder should be fine. The dudes at West Metro Produce & Meat custom grind it for me.

Saw that one on the Chronicle of the Horse forums. I was roaring And on Saturday, as I fire up the Duramax Diesel in my big black Silverado 3500 LT dually, I'll laugh some more as I truck on by! ( > insert Tim Taylor grunting here < )

Ach, no need for a special board. A sharp, long-bladed straight knife & a small cutting board with a handle work just fine. As to the recipe, milk is a no-no. They come out too tough. I'll pull the recipe from my German Cookbook tonight. Those who want Spaetzle makin' lessons, just holler!!! And for those wondering, it's pronounced SPETCH-LA... not "spait-zll." Oy I cringe every time I hear a TV cook pronounce it that way and know that Oma Schroth is turning over in her grave.
-
Come see me for Spaetzle lessons. I learned from my grandma who'd been to cooking school in Germany as a girl. Learning to scrape 'em off the board is an art and takes practice. To cheat, use a potato ricer and squish the batter thru and cut off I can teach anyone to make the best spaetzle!!!

Anyone know what was happening with the Comer case?

Thank God. Hope the fund raiser goes well this weekend! -
Regardless of your political leanings, every single American should watch this. Bottom line: you in your personal household KNOW that you cannot keep spending more than you take in ---and you are not being responsible when you keep spending despite deep debt. Must be the same in the Gubmint - you know, the people WE put there?

But again, it wasn't that she put the wee child's bottom on the railing to sit on it, whereupon she could have wrapped her arms around him, to look down upon the animals. She STOOD the child on the railing.

Great offer! Just check with your insurance company on this before hand... tis better to be safe than sorry! -
Worse yet, the child wasn't sitting on the rail - he was standing because mom place him there/that way. I can't imagine the horror, guilt and grief she's going through. Alas, you know they're gonna sue the zoo for every penny because they didn't have a 15' high railing, insufficient signage and warnings, blah blah blah.

Another vote for Country Inn & Suites. My mom and dad stay there every time they come up to visit us. We also held a Church Board retreat/planning weekend there and they were fab!

So did I (Bellmore)! My mom and I went out during the eye of Hurricane Gloria... so weird to go from sideways rain & wind, to sun & blue sky. Sooooooo many trees over onto cars & trucks, some into houses. Prayers for those affected by Sandy.
