I went through around 10 and everything was in the same spot.

i double dog dare my kid to act a fool in public. Double.Dog.Dare. My kiddo says things like, "mommy, if *I* did that I would get a spankin'!" and I very loudly (or loud enough for the other party to hear) say, "you are correct, we don't ____ do we? That's not good behavior." But then again, I'm one of those people who have opinions and state them out loud to other parents. I'll get in a fight one day, I just know it.

The letter with the dvd says to keep it since you didn't ask for it. I got one a few weeks ago. Also, the $ is for future videos. That's not it. I believe it was sent to folks who attended Women of Faith conferences.

We tried 3x after gymnastics to get ice cream. All 3 times there was some reason we couldn't have any (broken freezer, out of stock, and something else I don't remember). You can only disappoint a kid so many times with no ice cream before you give up on a place. 3 tries and they didn't get a single dollar from me.

5 years ago (almost to the day....Jan 28) I was in the same boat as your daughter. It's a long, hard road finding a new "normal". Send me a list and let's see if we can't ease the burden a little bit.

Singapore Mc'Ds.

I have been to a McD's in about 8 different countries.....and none of them were like the American version. I actually *liked* it abroad. The one near my friend's apt in Singapore delivers. For real.

You can't. I cleared the shelf. And I'm not even a couponer. (but seriously, they're delicious and I've only seen them at WM)

I cleared the shelf at the Dallas WalMart because it's the only place I can find pumpkin pie poptarts. And I don't even feel bad about it.

I remember living in other communities and being a part of an "adopt a road" project. Our orginizaton kept a particular stretch of road clean....once a month we went out with bags. Many of the more scenic areas were adopted.

I liked that place in D'Ville so much better when it was in the smaller building. The quality has definately suffered since the move. IDK if they got a new chef or if it's tough to keep up with the higher demand.... Of course, as a NOLA native, I'm a little picky. **edited because my post referred to the place in the topic and I forgot to differentiate. I'll do better next time.
