  8. I think it'll be alright. I don't like her, so I don't watch her show. There are tons of single moms out there that do just fine.

  13. Last week was awesome. This week will be awesome. The whole f-ing show is awesome! I just don't think I can stay up another hour. :sleepy: Thank goodness for DVR!
  14. I get to chose my doctor. I can opt not to go if I don't want to, or I can opt to change if I don't like the one I have....because there's probably another doc on down the road. I don't have a choice who my child's teacher is and it isn't convinent to choose another option.

  17. My college roommate has been teaching in Singapore for 4 years. We talked about going together, but I found myself with child during the application phase, so I stayed here. Not teaching overseas is my greatest regret.
  18. There are a bunch of kids ranging from 15-17 (as best I could tell) and both genders are available. I picked a female because that would be a better fit with my family dynamic.
  19. We're excited! I tried to explain the process to my 5 year old and she wants her "big sister" to come NOW. lol.
  20. I heard the Amber Alert (or Levi's call? I don't even know the difference) this morning around 10:45am. I'm glad the kids were found safe. There isn't enough information to pass judgement on anyone involved.
  21. I sent a PM. I did a 2 week exchange in HS to France and it was amazing. I would love to welcome one of these children into my home!
