If you get fleas in the house it is not a one time thing to spray, you have to vacum every day, do not keep the bag, or if you have a bagless vacum, empty it every time in a baggie. You have to spray every week, vacum,mop, etc and keep it up for a month or so... there are not only fleas, but eggs and larve..... they have a life cycle....you have to kill all the life cycles. Guard Dad - very good post. I remember the time in 1982, interest rates were very high, and and a lot of people were out of jobs, but we recovered then.... Now it is a question... we have a President with no experience, that was voted in on his speeches, of change, he has brought change in a downward turn.... he is arrogant, we will do it my way... You go to the site and put in an address and it says bill has been paid, nothing comes up... did not try by name, but don't know the name of people in development... use to could do it by address... There were a lot of developments in Paulding County that were started, but never finished. some have homes in them with vacant lots... some are just vacant lots with roads built.... what does this do to property assessment? You use to look up other homes on the gov site, but now you can not do that... so how do you protest high assessment? They have changed the website.... they are planning on raising property taxes on way or the other.

Greystone has started a new billing system, which I do not like, did not get my bill last month, it went to my son's house. Had to go to the office to straighten it out... and it really seems like since they have put in the new meters and the new billing system the rates on electric have gone up.... no ac last time and my bill was a lot more than last year at this time. This is gonna be a hot summer.... save your pennies.

Good advice, had someone tell me every time the electric bill comes due, change the filter.

Who was here first the mud bogging or the subdivisions? People have been driving in the mud around here for as long as I remember. Some get out of hand, but most want to have a good time. Surepip - I have to agree, other counties give the seniors a break on school taxes a lot earlier... We have been re assesed every year... with our value going up every year. I just got a letter from the bank... we have a home equity line of credit that was reduced because of the decreasing value of our home, I wonder if that could come into play when the county values my property next tax time, they devalued it about $75,000.00. Last year my property value with the county went down very little... So what appraisers are the county using?
