There are canned vegetables that have no salt...... at the store u gotta read the labels, most frozen or convience foods are loaded with sodium. There are some some cerals that have low sodium, but u got to read the labels... There is a salt substitiute and a lite salt... there are seasonings Ms Dash that have no salt... there are saltines that have no salt... You just have to take time to do some research and read the labels, when you do you will be surprised how much sodium is in everything. Fresh fruit and veggies are good...there are some lower sodium lunch meats at Publix, Boars

I am sorry that people got laid off, but it is happening all over the state and country....police and fire are running with small forces in many, many counties. Sherdian left us with a bundle of debt.... at lot the voters put on their selves.... but the new courthouse complex was not put up for a vote, it was just put upon us, thanks Sheridian, and you did not even get to move in it, karma is karma. I my opinion, he wasted a lot of our hard earned money, it took years for some to see this..... that is their fault. My property taxes have more than tripled over a 10 year period.... this was

Anyone know of some home remedies for getting rid of fleas?
cherokeewoman replied to britt1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We have always used frontline on our dogs, this year, it did not work... I had fleas in the yard basement, and in the house on the dogs after using frontline... I had sprayed my house a couple of times, bathed my dogs too much, sprayed the yards..... still fleas......everywhere. I went to East Paulding Animal Hospital and got all of my dogs on Comfortis, a new pill.... well it seems to be working, my dogs are finally sleeping, I have sprayed my home, basement and yards again, and I am praying this pill works, if it does they will be on it year round. So far so good with the house and dog -
What has happened to our sport industry? These guys use to be heros for our kids? Now convicted felons play football, what kind of message are we sending the kids? Of course now, this is just a money making business, there are no morals, or esteem, so we push our kids into sports for what reason? Who should they look up to? Our country has gone to hell in a hand basket.

Keep in mind they have to pay for the new meters no one comes out to read, wondering if they are accurate? Also besides your bill you are paying taxes, surcharges, etc that will add 20 to 30 dollars a month to your bill..... why do we have to pay taxes on electric/gas/telephone etc when we pay taxes all year long? And again in April? what will they tax next?

US Big Food Co's. Could Virtually Run Out of Sugar
cherokeewoman replied to midget56's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Midget56, this makes sense to me,Americans don't need as much sugar, so our government will make sure we don't get it..... all in the line of socilasim, what I wonder will be next..... we soon will be ruled by what the government thinks we need or don't need.... not what we want, just wait and see.... and when the new medical comes in, we will all be under more restricitons, we will eat, sleep, drink what we are told to.......... no this is not a dream..... is is Obama rule. -

If you are in need in Paulding County I have heard that you have a hard time getting thru the applications, the people are not helpful and you usually have to go back 2 or 3 times because there is no assistance in filling out the forms that make no sense... you are usually declined, then have to try to call and talk to someone, and then have to go back and redo the applicaiton.........don't know about other areas, but if people are really in need, there needs to be a better system in the county... in this day and time there are too many in need that don't need to go thru this. -
Tess I looked at the Greystone website and this is where operation roundup goes to: Operation Round Up The GreyStone Power Foundation, Inc. is built upon the strength of GreyStone's members volunteering to round up their electric bills to the next dollar or give additional monthly amounts to provide monetary assistance for non-profit organizations. It makes a tremendous difference in the lives of those who need help in our community. If you would like to participate in Operation Round Up, the Foundation's fundraising arm, simply check the "Yes" box on your power bill statement. S

I have always used frontline, but this year, it does not work.... there is a new pill you can give monthly... comfortis(I think that is the right spelling).. Took 3 dogs today to get them on it.... the fleas got in my house, and I have sprayed, mopped, vacumed for weeks... i got my hubby to wash dogs tonight.....(we started the pill today).... he found a lot of dead fleas on them.... they are all sleeping in comfort tonight, now scratching or gnawing their skin, sleeping like babies...... Frontline has done nothing for us this year... our old vet said my older dogs could not take it, but

My daughter's other half is now home on leave from Afgahistan, enjoying the time with his family..... we are loving the time he has here now, and as always praying for the safety of him and all the troops..... His joy and welcoming home was seeing his family at the airport greeting and hearing his boy say Daddy! Daddy! as he approched. I wish we could give them all a flag waving beside the road welcome as we do the deceased, but they all come in at such different times(especially on leave), so I think they would just apprecaite you praying for their safety and if you can send some things t -
