  1. What's funny is that she actually tries to convince everyone that her husband is innocent in it all and had nothing to do with it. If I were her, my husband would have manhandled me in front of the news cameras if I were taunting that poor little girl. And he would be justified in doing so! I also read on another news article that a neighbor of the families said the white trash would pull up in the hearse truck and rev the engine and actually say to the little girl, "I can't wait until you die!" HOW AWFUL.
  2. Ha...pitiful apology and lighting a candle? I'd be more compelled to believe she was trying to burn their house down rather than make an apologetic gesture. If that were my child, I would have already put the lights out on that evil woman.
  3. That is just terrible. Regardless of their dispute or if they are justified in hating the little girls parents, what they have done to that little girl is awful. They have a child of their own...how can they do something like that? All I have to say is what goes around comes around...
  4. Now, Steven, don't be getting all emotional on me! :-) I miss you, Santa. Little Gray got his hearing aids. I will have to bring him by to show them to you. I have been super busy, but I think I will be in Hiram tomorrow at some point if you are around.
  5. Oh, but anyway, I don't really need help anymore because the company said I can split the shift 3 ways, so I could work, for example, 3pm-5pm, take a break, 7pm-10pm, and midnight-2am, etc. It doesn't have to be split in half, so that solved all my issues with the kids and hubby.
  6. I'm an MT, or MLS (medical language specialist) as my newest employer prefers to call it. Most MLS positions are remote positions; it is nothing new. I have gotten a few emails in my inbox about this, so just in case anyone else is wondering...It is production based, but with an employee position you will make at least your state or federal minimum wage. Anything you produce beyond that is yours as well. You are paid per line. As the recruiter said yesterday, I can be one of her lazy $10/hr MLS, or I can be one of her 60k+/yr MLS. I haven't started working for them as of yet, but I have been w
  7. Hubby works Saturdays, so I would have to move that to Sunday if I did it that way. I like the idea of 8-1, but I am just not sure I could sit there for 5 hours straight. I was sort of thinking about Sun-Thurs 3-6 and then 11-2:30 am. That way I would have Fri and Sat off. Since my family is in SC, I would have no problem driving there on Fri after picking son up from school, then getting home before 3 on Sundays. I don't know. I am almost thinking this is going to be a hassle and that I should just stick with my current job and make it full time, but the lack of accountability makes it v
  8. This is going to be long and a little confusing, but if anyone can help me out with this, I would really appreciate it! Okay, so I graduated almost a month ago and got a job working from home. My current job has NO schedule. I can work as much or as little as I want, and if I want days off or something comes up, I just have to email my boss and it's no problem. Well, that sounds great, and it was, but unfortunately this leads to me slacking off and not working. I work best under pressure, so the extreme flexibility is leading to extreme procrastination. I accepted another job yesterday al
  9. I hope that isn't directed at me, because I don't think anyone should treat her badly. HOWEVER, I don't want to interact with her anymore because of how she was parading around the Target parking lot yelling at children and flipping people off. I have only talked to her once, and she was very nice to me. But I won't be talking to her again, and I was just trying to warn anyone who hasn't talked to her before that she may just go off on on them and their kids. If someone is mentally ill to the point of yelling and cursing at innocent people, they need medical care and not to be walking around t
  10. Bush? Seriously?? What about Obama? In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan. When President Barack Obama took the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2009, the total federal debt held by the public stood at 6.3073 trillion, according to the Bureau of the Public Debt, a division of the U.S. Treasury Department. As of Aug. 20, 2010, after the first n
  11. On the way home from grocery shopping I saw at least 10 police cars near Classic Cuts in downtown Dallas. They had swarmed the parking lot and the street. I searched around and didn't see a topic on this yet. Anyone know anything? It was just odd, and there were so many cars.
  12. Definitely! And she deserves it with all she has been through.
  13. Kinda makes me wonder about a girlfriend of mine. She went to Mableton Friday night and we were talking about having them over for dinner tonight. She posted on my FB page that they have to take a rain check and will explain later. Kinda cryptic and weird. Wondering if she bought a lottery ticket
  14. I am glad she is doing okay, but I no longer "support" her anymore. I know a lot of people know her personally, and she was very nice to me one time, but the other day at Target she was yelling at kids and adults and saying all sorts of terrible things, including saying that if she didn't like them then God didn't either. I had read of her doing these types of things before, but I had never witnessed it myself. It was terrible, and my kids ended up seeing it. I know she may have some issues or problems that cause her to act this way, but I am no longer going to wave at her or talk with her bec
  15. Yeah, it is pretty old, I think. It was here when we moved in, and the house was built in 95, and I'm just going to take a guess and say it's the original.
  16. Okay, thanks! I will have my husband try what you said tomorrow. I hope it is just something simple like that because we have had no prior leak, and I would think it would start out as a slower drip than it has. But, I know nothing about this sort of thing! I just wouldn't think it would require a bowl overnight. Thanks!
  17. Where does your leak come from?
  18. I noticed a little bit of water on the garage floor near the water heater. Checked, and there is a slow leak coming from the bottom. It is near the edge of the heater underneath, and it is coming from a little square looking area that appears hollow; there are a few of them on the bottom, and it is leaking from one. It's a slow drip. I have had a bowl underneath it for about 6 hours, and it is only filled about a cup's worth. Any ideas? I tried Googling and everything seemed to point to it just being old and "rusting out" on the inside. I'm wondering if that is it, or if my son messed wit
  19. That's something I gotta see!!!
  20. What's worse is when people post a picture and label it, for example, "John and I." Um............you wouldn' say, "That's a picture of I." It would be, "John and me." I really can't stand that. I see and hear that mistake all the time. It is amazing how many times I hear it when watching movies or shows. Things like, "She went to the beach with Ashley and I." NO. I just want to scream at them. Lol.
  21. Lol. Well, I don't know how it is here, but in SC it doesn't work that way. My sister's friend served time for the act, but she still has to give the money back. I guess it is at the judge's discretion, but I think the judge would be pretty crappy if he DIDN'T make her pay at least some of the money back.
  22. I feel compelled to add that my friend's sister did this AFTER going to jail for mutilating her husband's girlfriend. Pretty badly. So, there is hope for your sister. She did a really stupid, terrible thing, but she didn't physically hurt anyone, and it's possible she will get a much lighter sentence than you think.
  23. A friend of mine has a sister who did the very same thing. She worked for a sort of temp agency. She wrote checks out to herself. I don't know what the amount was, but it was thousands and thousands over a period of time. She did go to jail, but I believe it was less than a year, and now she has a pretty good job and has never seemed to have trouble following her from that ordeal. I'm actually surprised at how well she has done. She does have to pay restitution payments. I hope that your sister has learned a huge lesson from this and that she will do well in the future.
