  1. We are about to pass our debt ceiling and other countries are rapidly losing confidence in the US dollar as reserve currency. China and Russia want to throw out the dollar as reserve, and you think that is a sign of improvement? You have to look at the whole picture. The world economy is not ready for a repeat of what has already done so much damage. I'd also like to ask how you think people are supposed to move when the housing market is nothing but soggy cereal right now. Even renters are wanting something for nothing. Also, people tend to change jobs every few years. Does that mean the
  2. You called a dead girl an idiot because she texted and drove and happened to be killed. YES, it was stupid to do, but she is no different than most teens. If she had run into my family and injured us, YES, I would be livid, but she didn't deserve to die, and her family is choosing to make something positive out of the situation. They are trying to help kids like YOURS whose parents think they have their children following a manual. I'm sorry, but the parents who think they have everything all figured out and little Susie Q doesn't have sex, never drinks, etc...those are the kids sneaking and d
  3. Actually, I am far from a follower of you, which is precisely why I stay away from Paulding now. I rarely visit this site anymore. I came today to look for something and saw the topic name and opened it without paying attention to who had posted it. Would have closed it immediately, but Devon is my close friend, so I wanted to read her response. And yes, that was my point. Glad you didn't catch anything, but saying that you didn't and that their job is complete is just BS, because there are so many teens out there who text and drive, so if they "make it" to adulthood, their parents did th
  4. Wow, you get the mother-of-the-century award. I'm glad you have it all figured out for everyone. And you are right, God forbid something happens to yours because then your perfect plan was imperfect, and that would make you the lowly failure parent.
  5. So, with that logic, your parents technically failed you because you were a teen mom and "technically" could have gotten HIV. What baffles me is why people continue to put up with your callous attitude on here.
  6. I agree with dumbestgirlintheworld. Are you REALLY asking that question? There's no way in HELL I wouldn't have immediately called the police, and I would be doing my best to have that footage destroyed! The ONLY excuse I can see for an adult recording your child is if they have seen them doing something wrong before and are trying to catch it on camera as evidence. Otherwise, PERVERT!
  7. NM...out of stock again for now.
  8. I got quotes for $750 and up from Lowe's, KMart, Home Depot... I found a company advertising on Clist for $499 total price for my gas water heater, expansion tank, and installation. http://www.appliancescomfortair.com/ No extra charges and a 6-year warranty. The guy who came out was really nice and did a great job from what we can tell, and no problems yet. That was a week ago. They put in a Bradford White heater, which I have read mixed reviews on, but I have read mixed reviews on every brand...
  9. I'm going to be so broke now... Love OG.
  10. I went to school with a girl named Candy Roach...poor thing. I also went to school with a boy named Phuc Nguyen....Nguyen being pronounced as "when."
  11. Here's a thought: Whip their butts. The ice cream man rolls through here every day around dinner time, too. I say "no" when I have no change, dollars, or I just don't want my kids to have it. There is an "Aw, man. No fair" and that's it because, if anything more is said about it, I show my oldest who is in charge.
  12. Well, wouldn't that be called Teen Mom? Lol...couldn't resist.
  13. Oh, yay. Makes me feel so much better, girl...not. Lol!
  14. Okay...so if you're a Christian who loves Halloween, great...and why does this strike you as odd? I don't understand why that would strike you as odd. If you yourself are a Christian who enjoys Halloween, why can't a pastor and decide to get in on it? Maybe they are trying to raise some money for a mission trip or something.
  15. Isn't that a stereotype? Not all churches are like that. If someone wants to spend their days worrying about what a jack-o-lantern *could* represent and whether or not they should watch Harry Potter, good on them, but I am not like that. I don't worship Harry Potter or jack-o-lanterns or Halloween, so I really don't see what the problem is with a Christian dressing up in a costume, even a scary one, and decorating their house, nor do I see a problem with churches holding Halloween bashes or having pumpkin patches. I'm sure there are plenty of other things MY God would want me to worry about ra
  16. Oh, PLEASE tell me you are joking? I know it is possible, but I got one in July and have been having some weird symptoms the past couple weeks.........if I didn't have the IUD I would say I was pregnant, but these things are supposed to be the most reliable form of BC aside from getting a tubal. How long had you had yours when you got pregnant??? I got the IUD because I wanted something that would WORK without having to take a pill, but I have been taking naps for 2 weeks now...something I NEVER do, sore breasts, cramping, along with some other symptoms.....it is not my cycle as I am stil
  17. My son really enjoyed taking choi kwang do, and I liked watching him participate. However, it did not calm him down or teach him discipline. If anything, I noticed he was more hyperactive. He would do his little kicks and stuff all over the house...attempting to do flips, etc. He hasn't stopped. That was a year ago... I have had other moms say their kid was the same way and became more active. So, I would try it and see how he does first. Most places will let you take a class or 2 to decide.
  18. Kids know the dangers. That is why they are bringing them to school...because they KNOW what they want to do. They know the consequences, but they just don't care. They know if they shoot someone that person is going to die. They know they are going to be in trouble. But they are kids, so they aren't going to fully grasp the effects of those consequences. My oldest son is in kindergarten and will not stand up for himself because he is terrified of his clothespin moving to orange or red. I have told him several times that I do not care if he moves to red or orange or black or green or blue
  19. Well, I can think of a few things. First, she said her husband fell UNDER the water and she dove down to get him and pull him up but could not. Then, she said that her husband was floating on top and she tried to lift him up and couldn't. Then, she said she hopped on her jet ski as bullets were whizzing by...not a single bullet hit her anywhere or anywhere on the jet ski, and this mysterious witness on shore said he heard her saying her husband had been shot WHILE she was riding and trying to get away from the Mexicans. Okay, tell me how he heard her all the way on the shore when she

    Teen Mom

After they gave up their daughter...literally right after...they were having unprotected sex. When asked by her doctor if they were using protection, they both said yes, but then later they were joking together about how they lied and weren't using protection. DUMB.

    Teen Mom

I personally don't think any of them have a clue except for Maci. From what you are describing, it sounds like you are watching an old season? I watched a few of the shows that sound exactly like what you are talking about. Anyway, Tyler and Catelynn made a brave decision giving their daughter a better life, but uh...they went on to have unprotected sex afterward. So, they were risking getting pregnant again and either having to give the baby up or keep it. Keeping it would not be fair to the daughter they just gave up, so they are obviously pretty irresponsible and selfish all for the sa
  22. Lol. I wasn't trying to be cruel with the yellow :-) I wanted to do red, but after I accidentally clicked yellow the first time, I just went with it. I wasn't trying to be snotty. My husband is really interested in this type of stuff, but I just think that it is going to be the same old, same old...seems they get us all excited about something like this and it ends up to be nothing but another link, not THE link. Know what I mean? Even the article itself suggests that this will only be a link, not THE link.
  23. Scientists believe the almost-complete fossilised skeleton belonged to a previously-unknown type of early human ancestor that may have been a intermediate stage as ape-men evolved into the first species of advanced humans, Homo habilis. The new discovery could help to rewrite the history of human evolution by filling in crucial gaps in the scientific knowledge. Most fossilised hominid remains are little more than scattered fragments of bone, so the discovery of an almost-complete skeleton will allow scientists to answer key questions about what our early ancestors looked like and when
  24. Now, if I bring Gavin, there is no way he'll believe you're Santa. He'll just say, "Mom...that's not Santa, that's Steven." Lol. :-) May bring Tyler and Gray if I am not busy that day!!
