Wow...hubbie has been to that one several times. I went with him to one in Marietta once and almost shot myself or someone else...a shell went down my shirt and got stuck in my bra. It was very hot and I was dancing around with a loaded gun trying to get it out and was being burned at the same time. I haven't been since. Anyway, just saying because it's totally possible it was an accident...hope he is okay!

My dad makes the best vegetable soup I have ever had...my friend used to come over to my house every time my dad made soup and we'd eat bowls and bowls of it. He gave me his recipe and I made it the other week. My very picky baby gobbled bowls of it up, and my oldest loves it, too. Even my husband ate it and liked it, and he is not a big soup person. BUT it still does not taste quite like my dad's. I don't know why, because I made it nearly just like he told me! I just got a giant dutch oven pot (had to cook it over 2 burners), filled it 3/4 with water, put in 2 bags frozen veggies (only PictS

No, but I want to!! I am probably going to order it after the baby is born. I'd be doing it now if I could, lol. But I already do more than a pregnant woman should, really, so...no Shaun T until after delivery! Right now I am still doing step aerobics, kickboxing stuff, etc. I did it before pregnancy sporadically (I go through phases with exercise...will work out very hard for 3 months and then stop for a few months...usually due to a life event, lol) and I did it all throughout my last pregnancy until 35 weeks, so I am okay to keep going. But I can't wait to try it...seems a lot more fun than

My oldest son started out very advanced in everything. He was speaking sentences and having conversations at 18 months. My youngest is 18 months and it is SO hard to imagine him speaking like my oldest did. My youngest just says one or two words at a time. But I have seen my oldest start to lose motivation in the past year and a half. He is not as motivated to learn things and would rather play instead. I think he is just bored, and that is why I sent him to pre-k. I think it's important for him to learn to be in a classroom setting and not be shocked in kindergarten. I'm a stay at home mom an

Ah, okay. Well, thanks for the info...I really appreciate it. Helps me out a lot! I will definitely have to talk to Kristie because I know that I filled his paperwork out properly, so perhaps she does not have me in the system. That is very possible since I was on the waiting list, so perhaps she just did not put me in there. Thanks a bunch!

'- Your kids go there? That is odd...I did not get a call. Thanks for chiming in!!

I don't know what to do. I'm guessing they will be out because they follow the Paulding county school schedule, but I just figured we would have heard something via email from his teacher (she usually sends emails if there is any news of anything). Tomorrow was supposed to be a special day with the kids wearing pj's and bringing their favorite bear to school. We just got home an hour ago from buying new pj's and searching everywhere for slippers (can you believe neither WM nor Target had any?? They only had girls...ugh). I know this should probably be in the school thread, but maybe someo

The games like tennis can be great. But I don't think that is part of Wii Fit, right?? I have Wii Fit and Wii Sports, so I can be confused, but I am pretty sure tennis is not on the regular Wii Fit. As I said, I can't comment on Wii Fit Plus. Also, I think it depends on what level of fitness you are at before trying Wii Fit. I am probably more critical than most would be because I enjoy more intense exercise. But I am coupling my opinion with "experiments" done by people, personal trainers, etc of the Wii Fit. There are many out there, and while people may feel they are getting a workout,

http://www.campbellkitchen.com/RecipeDetail.aspx?recipeId=23767&page=6 I stumbled across it somehow...looks pretty basic and it has rice in it, but according to the reviews the rice is what makes it. I will probably end up adding black beans to it as some of the reviewers said, but it seems like a good base recipe. I don't know if there was a Hop's here in GA, but in SC we had one and the nachos were my favorite thing...I think they baked them in the oven for a few minutes because the cheese was always melted over it. I might do that to this dish tonight. I will let you know if it's go

Hope your son doesn't read that. LOL! I'm making supreme nachos tonight. Never made nachos, always just make tacos, but I'm going for something a bit different this time. My hubbie just loves any Mexican knock-off dish, and I think I found a good recipe.

If it is just a lack of coordination that is your issue, I would skip Wii Fit with the goal of it giving you a workout. Wii Fit, IMO, should only be used as exercise for someone who may have some health issues that prevent them from doing anything else. I have Wii Fit, and I really find it to be nothing more than maybe a warm-up. The only thing, other than the running (which is about the only thing that will get your heart rate up), the only thing I find that could possibly be beneficial is the hula hooping, and that is only because it really forces you to hula hoop in a different way than you

Good luck...I've had my share of car problems within the past few months. It sucks! I hope you can get it all worked out...

Have you tried Cymbalta? My mother has severe fibromyalgia. She took Cymbalta and said her symptoms basically disappeared completely. However, she was very sick to her stomach with it, so she just chose to stop taking it. She didn't make it past the first week or two, but she said that is "the cure." Lol.

I agree with you 100%. And if anyone hasn't noticed, Atkins used to be everywhere...restaurants, food labels, etc. It is not there anymore and that is probably because it does not work. It works dramatically at first, but at the end of about a year, people who simply made better food choices (i.e. less saturated fat, less bread and desserts) weighed less. After about a year on Atkins, most people start to gain weight back. Whether that is their lack of following the diet as intended, who knows. And most people you hear talking about Atkins and the success they have had with it are no longer do

I went in there once to get towels after hubbie flooded our bathroom and used all our towels to soak up the water, then threw them out. I got about 15 or so of their cheaper towels. I only paid like $3/piece. They seemed on the thin side, but I've had them for about 2 years now and they are still good towels. And they fluffed up a lot when I washed and dried them. I don't remember thinking at all that their store didn't have good stuff. In fact, I think I remember wishing I had more money to spend. Lol. I say go in and just see for yourself.

It was good...yours? My mom came down a few days after and brought me a ton of new stuff I didn't need. I love my mommy! We need to get the oil changed on the white one soon, so I will probably call you in like a week.

Hey, yourself! I sent you a PM a couple of weeks ago...did ya get it?

Hey! I am here Just not as much lately...really had to get back in the habit of studying a certain amount of hours per day, and unfortunately it doesn't leave much time for anything else. I have to watch tv via the microwave reflection while cooking/dishes... Thanks for thinking of me!! I try to grab a few minutes on here every day lately, but I really only get to skim. I have to give myself a limit on the computer or I could just sit there all day.

Speaking of the sex...since she is a quadriplegic and cannot care for herself, shouldn't it have been the father's responsibility to use and maintain a birth control method? Shouldn't he have worn a condom or made sure she was taking birth control pills? If he thinks she is unable to care for a child, surely that must have entered his mind even if only for a split second before she became pregnant. Maybe he did wear a condom and maybe she was on birth control...perhaps it's one of those things that just happened anyway. But probably not...my guess is that they were probably having unprotected

To be honest, I don't even think I have taken a belly pic this pregnancy. I didn't take many with my other pregnancies either. I always mean to, just never do. My BIL took some of me with my last pregnancy, but he is yet to show/send them to me (they're on his computer) as he is always so busy. Honestly, even if I did have some I would not post them on here. I'm still working out every day, but I just feel blah.

Some of you need to be really careful about eating so little. Your body will think you are starving and it will work harder to store what you're eating as fat. Of course, if you eat that way long enough...you WILL end up losing weight, but most people do not stay on their diets very long. They restricted their food intake so much so that when they DO get back to eating "normally," the body just sees it as an opportunity to create more fat stores (again with the body thinking it is starving). You don't have to starve to lose weight. Just make healthier choices and don't go back for seconds -
I really recommend First United Methodist in Dallas. My son goes there. I was deciding between them and another private school and ultimately went with them, even though my initial impression was not great. It just wasn't as nice looking as the other place, but they are building a new building and it is supposed to be done right about now. I think it's going slower than they anticipated because they said probably December. Anyway, they teach Spanish on certain days. My son knows some numbers and colors and such in Spanish and I'm pretty impressed with that since they only do Spanish once

There *are* health benefits. And while I would never pierce my baby girl's ears if I had one (I think it is tacky to pierce a baby), it's not really the same thing. Ear piercing is much, much more common than tattoos and it is widely accepted among many different cultures and people from all types of beliefs and backgrounds. It is not hardly like a tattoo, IMO. I have personally never had a close friend or really noticed anyone who did not have their ears pierced that was past a certain age. Other piercings, however, are a different story and not widely accepted or thought of the way ear pierc

No...never personally been late or fallen behind. However, my neighbor/friend's husband lost his job once before and they got behind. They ended up on a payment plan paying extra on each payment for so long to catch up. Well, he went through several pay cuts with his new companies he got jobs with, and just recently their MC greatly reduced their interest rate and now their payment is either one or two hundred less per month. The only thing he can really do is call them, explain the situation, and they will probably have him fill out some paperwork. They may or may not decide to alter the
