Hun, peacocks are the creepiest of the creepy. 'Cept goats, but that's a different animal. Haven't you heard they way they scream "Help"? I hate those damn things.

Sorry for the hijack, too, Mark. I just got finished with the third book in that series as well. I loved it - I am going to re-read them since I started the series over a year ago with the first one and then had to wait for the last to come out in English. I love that series. A book you really should read if you haven't is "Water for Elephants". Excellent book. That is all. SOrry.

Yea, that's they way my parents did it. Although I never had birthday parties with friends, my birthday was totally seperate. Meh. Not really. When I was a kid, yea. Now that I am older I like it - people forget it's my birthday, too. LOL

Mine is Dec. 25th, so I TOTALLY understand how your dd feels. I never had parties growing up except for a handful - my friends were always with their families. On Christmas day my family came to our house for cake & icecream. My mom always felt so bad, so a couple of times she had a birthday party in July for me, but that was twice I think.

Yesterday morning we woke up and found two praying mantises (how the heck do you spell that? lol) on our front porch. Those are for good luck, right? "cuase they sure are creepy lol.
