I didn't think of that! I guess it kind of is. I think though that is is slowly absorbed by the body, though, and goes away. It reminds me of when my dog Charlie had parvo. Every day he had an injection of fluids under his skin on his back. It was a huge hump, and so gross! It took about 24 hours, but it would slowly go away as his body absorbed it.

I ain't cookin' either! I'm going to a ladies' party so I don't know what we'll be having except for beer and wine

LPPT, It may not be PC, but I agree with you too on some level at least. Tatoos and piercings do not bother me, at all. But, body modification does. Stuff inserted under the skin? Metal spikes implanted? Tongues spilt to look like that of a snake? I may not automatically assume you are a criminal, but I will automatically assume that your sole purpose for doing that to your body is to scare people and therefore I think it is stupid ridiculous. And it scares me LOL.

Okay. I found this. I don't know if it is the same thing or not, but I am not looknig anymore. Just looking at this made me throw up in my mouth a little. I looks like this: http://www.pixyard.com/_Weird_Body_Modification_In_Japan In Japan a new form of body modification is popular where a saline solution is injected under the skin to cause it to bubble out like this guy in the mug shot. Ugh. I have chills. It totally grossed me out. So, beware if you click the link. Just sayin'. Not my fault if you blow chunks. It's not gruesome, I just have an aversion to needles in skin. No.

WTH??? I am going to google "forehead bubble", but I doubt I will find anything. Yucko.

I love Post-its. The are ALL over my desk/wall. Though not so creatively, and say things like "Commission Statements!" and "A/R Aging" etc. I wish you guys had longer hours during the week!!

Lowrider - when I was little, maybe 5ish-6ish, I watched all of these on Nick at Night, every night. I loved these. You know what is scary? More time has passed since I watched these re-runs and now, then when these shows aired and I watched them as a little girl Now I see my favorite shows from when I was a kid/teen on TV Land. Like Roseanne - I still love that show LOL.

I always love it when I hear that excuse. You know who else was nice? Ted Bundy.

I make mine almost like KRM, and it's the same way my great-grandma and my grandma make it. Fresh okra - rinse and place in a bowl with ice water for a bit. It firms it up and easier to slice, IMO. Pour some cornmeal in a bowl. Slice the okra, and put in the bowl of cornmeal. Heat a cast iron skillet with a good amount of oil. Toss the okra well; it is oozy, so it will stick. Make sure it is well coated. Test th oil to make sure it's hot enough by tossing in a pinch of cornmeal. If it sizzles and fries, it's ready. Place the okra in a single layer in the pan. Cook for a bit, s

Werd. I love it!!! That was my favorite! I would sing along with it and my grandparents and I would roll with laughter. Gawd, I miss being a little girl at my Grandma & Grandpa's house. This is making me think of getting up early on Saturday mornings and "helping" Grandpa make his world famous breakfast with his world famous chicken gravy.

That must have been were I heard it... I knew I had but couldn't remember where.

He did. Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Mencia

I think Carlos Mencia steals other peoples' material. I have never been a fan of his, anyway. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that very few of his jokes are original. I have heard some of Bob Saget's stuff, and I think he's funny. IDK - never seen a whole show. But, I also have a strange sense of humor and very little offends me.

LOL you are soooo right about that! I can't stand that news station anyway. I mean, they are the ones that had a van come all the way out to Paulding to do an 11:00 story on location about..... bust stops and the kids that have to walk two houses down. I know, it's horrific. I sat up to watch it that night, and even sat thru Dagmar to see the atrocities that transpired in Paulding that day.

I loved this when I was a kid! I used to spend the nights with my Grandma & Grandpa on Friday nights all the time and we'd watch re-runs on TV. It was one of their favorite shows. We'd watch that and the Friday night Disney movie.

I hope they don't get these kids back. 158lbs at FIVE YEARS OLD? WHAT?! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?!? Lice big enough to see from afar? Spider bites? WTH? How can people live in these conditions, and allow their childre to?????????
-
I don't know about the Romper Room, but I always feel like the next thig out of her mouth will be something like, "Okay now children! I am Dagmar, your fairy godmother!"
-
She is sooooooooo irritating. I can't stand her voice. It's like nails on a chalk board to me. She just sounds so fake.

Awww, thanks hun! You have a great day, too! And all youin's in this thread

I must be then. I promise I am a nice person, unless I don't know you and you are all up in my space. Or if you sneeze and I am on the same bus/plane/just near you.

LOL - I know a thing or two about that. I wasn't sure about the one in Chatt area, I've heard about it though.
