Just out of curiosity...why in the world would you drop FEDEX off there? That's like dropping a cat into a fence full of dogs.....Big brown ones.

That is an amazing deal, and I know you are worth every penny. I love Mr. Rodney's cooking.

well that link answers all my questions. Looks like a quarter of the county is down.

I'm out and i'm riverwood. Any Idea what has caused it?

What is wrong with us? I cannot help but wonder how we have gotten to this point in our society. In looking at the above posts I cannot help but wonder when we became so desensitized to the current happenings. I don't know Freds, but I do know that a business does not make a decision to close in a vacuum... This one closing means employees are losing their jobs, property companies are losing their revenue stream, suppliers are losing a customer, customers are losing a choice, the state loses a tax source, the owner is losing his labor of love, his time, his life savings, and maybe ev

We filed the case over a series of allegations that covered a wide range of complaints. Put simply he uses the hoa like his personal piggy back. He is the sole voting member of the hoa and elected himself as the property manager. He increased his fees from 8k per year to well over100k. Our pool is not usable. The playground was only made safe as result of the suit. There has not been any landscaping for years. The water to the common areas has been cut off. the power to the street light has been cut due to non payment of the hoa power bill. He used our hoa money to pay his attorneys in hi

Just think, when I don't pay my dues to his corrupt organization this year either I'll be looking at 10,000 in liens....I owe 300k, and its worth about 100k. Realtors won't show or list in the hood....we are all pretty much ruined.
-
the judge assigned to our case made a summary judgment in favor of Pearson three Weeks ago. No trial, no mediation, no day in court. 120k in legal fees on our side. The dues stand at 1500 with thousands of dollars in liens against our homes. We have taken this to appeal, but with Barnes on your side there is no winning this now.

Supposebly.....That one word sends up the verbal idiot flag. * This symbol is not an asterick either....Very few get that one right. Asterisk, 3 syllables.

That is some of the saddest news I have heard in a long time. I worked with Randall on many projects and his design skills were top notch. Prayers to his wife and children in this difficult time.
-
Well that's one more nail in the coffin.

I hate it for you. Riverwood residents sued the HOA controlled by the developer after he raised dues from 450 to 1500 over four years. We don't have the pools or clubhouses or playgrounds that Bentwater has. It has cost the residents a lot of attorneys fees over the past two years, but we expect to have this wrapped up in the next few months.

Advice for Business Owners About Purchasing Advertising -
upstore replied to King Tux Rentals's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I fell for that one about my second year in the business. I have been very leery of print advertisement since then. Last year we had a good return using Money Mailer, and I did it again for this holiday season. -
If you "could" care LESS then you DO care, right?! Grrrr...

alot......It's not one word. -
I hate to say, but it looks like a fine idea to me. Transportation routes have to change because 278 through Hiram is awful. Emminent domain will only be a problem for a few, the rest of the proposed route and adjacent land was probably bought up by the politicians years ago....It is after all Paulding county.

TP, as a currently serving senior Marine Corps Officer, I can assure you that the US Military will never be "THUG ENOUGH" to have anything to do with the wall street protest youth. They have the right to their opinion. I have my hands full of islamists......

I had very similar symptoms. I had an Gastro specialist do an endoscopic look down the old wind pipe to see what was going on. It was heartburn. Prilosec daily solved it. Thats the simple answer. There are other issues causing the heartburn. Something called schatzky's ring at the upper pylorum that made the valve bulge the other direction so food would not go down the way it's supposed to. They used a baloon type device to stretch it out a little. There was also something called eocinophillacesophagitis (sp) where there was an over abundance of eocins in the tissue of my throat. H

We can make notepads in our sleep. We routinely place in the top 20 stores in the Southeast US for our print volume. Stop by and talk to Tori....She's a genius. Glenn

Many of you know that I take a different route than other UPS Store owners. People manifest their packages at home, and bring the box in with a label off their printer and happily tell me that it's ready to go, but that I just need to tape the label on for them.....I literally go through a case of tape each week ($70 dollars a case). So not only do I make no sellable transaction, but I have to spend money for tape.... Most stores charge for the above scenario, but I refuse to. I don't feel like that is customer friendly. So, we have a box called the Tape Kitty. When I have to tape a

Barber Shop: There is no place finer than Elizabeths Barbershop behind Wendy's at the crossroads. I'm military, and she can work a High and Tight with hot shaving cream, straight razor, and followed up with a Mach 4 like it's cool. I'd postulate that she could even do it with a blindfold.....Good people there!!! Glenn

From a different perspective, ChasePaymentech has raised the credit float rate that they charge merchants considerably since the Dodd-Frank act passed. My cost for customers using their credit cards has swelled to $600 per month. To have a customer swipe their debit card for their purchase costs me .51 cents now. I've resisted setting a minimum purchase to use a card for years, but I know many businesses that are now requiring at least $5.00 in purchase or they add a .50 cent transaction fee.

Spinoff, "As Seen on TV" what have you tried?

I have used, still use, bought a second.... won't exercise without it.... The Belly Burner. It's a 12"tall x 40"long tacky neoprene velcro band that wraps around your waist under your PT shirt. They claim it heats up your core, and burns the fat better. I have a waaay better use for it. I live in downtown New Orleans, and this this is an awesome way to strap my Glock, and extra mag, music, ID and car keys. Keeps everything tight and free from bounce, but always ready for some thuggery.
