On the bright side you are not having to deal with the dilemma our neighborhood is going through. Not only do I have 7 of 14 homes in foreclosure on my street alone, our developer has raised our HOA dues to $1500 that is up from just 450 three years ago, and despite the increasing dues the neighborhood has gotten worse each year. I'm with you, I'd really like to move too....

I saw a commercial a little while ago that tried to convince me in a time of disaster a case of Non-Hybridized vegetable seeds would save the day and could be worth more than gold or silver. They even come in a neat cylinder for that special doomsday kit (you know the one with plastic sheeting and duck tape). The best part is that they are ony $250 dollars for 5 lbs of seeds. I might be wrong but did'nt the last 50 years of agriscience and genetic research allow us to create Hybridized seeds that resist fungi, disease, and pests while requiring less fertilizer and increasing the per acre

No way, I deliberately wear hard crunchy hair gel in an effort to attract that team of hot chicks that randomly tackle guys just to wash their hair..... Unless you're talking the double pits to chesty mess, and then, well your right....

Alright Pcom what are some of the worst commercials you have seen. I'll give some starters: Three uppermiddle class ladys siting on their sofa talking about their intestines being "a little sluggish" while the other lady sings the activia song. Has Jamie Lee Curtis run out of movie deals and childrens books that she has to pitch this one to us??? May just be me, but if I admitted to a friend during a lapse in a bromance moment that things were flowing again, and you congratulate me, I might have to punch ya.... Just thinking... Glenn

That note is funny right there, I don't care who you are....... On a side note, I had my brand new honda accord parked a few spaces away from my store. Some jacko in a truck hit the passeger side rear and front door, as they pulled in and out, and did not say a word (1400 in damage). That was three years ago, so far I have had five other morons leave really bad dings in my doors, and a hail storm at new hope made the car look like a golf ball (3500 more in damage). All I'm saying is, don't be surprised when I take the car down to the LineX truck bed place, and have the entire car pai

Doc, I appreciate your support of the Military. As you well know, I have been called back into active duty again. The feeling among the Marines I am working with is that we are honored to even be considered for any payraise. In fact, the majority of us feel guilty being given a raise considering just how many of our family and friends have lost their jobs, seen their hours cut, forced into furlough days, or even experienced cuts in pay. These are truly difficult times, and I am simply thankful to have the brotherhood of my fellow Marines next to me. I'll stop by whenever I get back,

Maybe if they stopped spending millions and millions of dollars advertising the flat rate shipping box, and stop giving the product away by virture of charging a price point that actually keeps them in business they might be self sufficient. However, if one were to look at the 100 million plus flat rate shipments, divide that by the 10 billion in the hole, and imagine the staggering loss. FEDEX, and UPS charge a pickup fee on their packages, not at the postal service on flat rate packages, the Postal Service even gives the box away. What seems like a convienence has cost the postal service

If you were a politician running for an office....
upstore replied to MeWhoElse's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I believe that I will run for an office someday when the time is right. When that time is right I would continue to use the board. I use it for the business, general networking, and politics should be no different. People want to feel like their elected officials listen to and care about them. I believe that has been lost on many officials in current positions. So when I run, yes, I'll still be here on PCOM. Glenn -
To pull his coat away exposing what was previously a concealed weapon is considered brandishing a firearm. That is a threatening act in itself. Georgia does have an open carry law, but to transition that weapon from a concealed position to an open position with a menacing demeanor would have cause me to skin my cat fo shure. You should have called the Police and filed a report. Glenn

I could make a BANNER to celebrate 10K ..... At only $4 dollars a sq ft, a 3x8 would be only be $96! Thats just 10.9 shares of GEA girls stock. Regular price for that anywhere else would be about $150-175!!!! Glenn

Well I might as well warn you all, we are going to be shooting the cannon (3in gun) from the top of Kennesaw mountain on Sunday, and with that elevation, and the thump the gun makes, I'd not be suprised to hear it out here. Glenn
