Hey Guys! I've had several customers coming in saying the roads are fine, besides a few bad spots in the shaded areas. We're open and ready for business! We have the staff to accommodate your shipping and postal needs! We look forward to seeing you! -The UPS Store in New Hope JUST IN FROM UPS: UPS has an early curfew today and will be picking our store up today at 4:30pm! -The UPS Store in New Hope

Guys and Gals, UPS will be delivering and picking up today as they attempt to dig out of a 2 day backlog. The postal service has announced that they hope to return to normal operations today as well. I will have staff doubled up today so that there should be no wait times for anything. Don't foret we offer a full line of postal products just like the post office, but without the crazy line. Have a great day, Glenn

I've been getting calls every five minutes all day long. Most calls have been pretty routine non shipping stuff like faxes and printing requests. The good thing about this type of business is that the need does not dissipate because of the snow. People still have to mail their bills, or send that fax, or get that notary done. Once we really open, I'll have the staff doubled up because we'll have to be ready to manage the demand. Additionally, I know the post office line will be awful, and we are a much more convenient option since we do everything the post office does.

Hi guys and gals, I have an employee that live sufficiently close enough that we are now open. However, UPS, FEDEX, DHL, and the post office are not going to make any pickups. We will close at sunset, and attempt to open tomorrow on schedule. Glenn
-
From an advertising perspective, that is pure genius.

I'm going to be closed tomorrow as well. The employees safety is not worth the risk. Additionally, I'm willing to bet I can get any ups trucks to come out either. When we do finally open, I will have the staff doubled up. So, no need to stand in line at the post office. Glenn

According to Hubby lines are already dropping in ATL.......

Especially since the other guy was headed down 75. I was headed down 85, so that means at least double what I saw was converging on Atlanta from the south.. It was like watching the cavalry headed toward the battle.... -

I passed convoys of power line trucks and support equipment coming north all day long. I probably passed 200 trucks. It was quite a sight. -
I was rolling in the floor laughing at the call too. That's why I could not do that job. God bless the SO and their patience...

Anyone else expected to drive to work in the am?

I've already waived my crew off. We will be closed tomorrow for sure. Even if I walked across the street to the store, UPS corporate will not bother sending any truck out to us. We might be back open on tuesday or wednesday depending....It's just not worth the risk. PS...I had a virtual hurricane come past the house in New Orleans about 6 Hours ago. If that is headed ya'lls direction you are all officially doomed... Glenn -

I love guns, but that statement is not accurate. You will still be unarmed when you get off that airplane. I however will be packing when I pick you up at baggage....

In the Corps we have a new non-lethal that really solves this problem. It emits a radiowave at the 950ghz range and causes the moisture in you skin to boil at the subdermal level. The result is a feeling all over your body that is really similar to opening and looking into a really hot oven. The recipient cannot remain in the beam, and will quickly move away or out of the range of the device. There is no harm done to the recipient at all. Commercialize that device, and sell it as a personal defense weapon. What are they going to sue me for making them all warm and tingly?

Cousins Properties developed the Avenues.... Cousins properties developed Seven Hills.....I'll give you one guess where any sort of Avenues venture is going to go.... There is a lot of vacant land not being taken up by the hospital complex where the new Seven Hills connector is going to be placed.... At 5 Million dollars per mile, something has to go in there that makes it worth it.
