  1. Just because it's a Franchise does not mean that someone local is not on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I love Rodneys, and Briar Patch, and Wallace BBQ. Glenn
  2. South Paulding Middle School is where he attended
  3. Customer is looking for the child in the attached image. Justin Chase Fennell Age 13 Brown Hair Brown eyes 115 lbs Last seen sleeping Friday Sept 25th at residence near Vine Creek Bridge on Buchanan Hwy. Call (770) 443 2875 home (770) 983-4266 cell (404) 461-8697 cell (770) 445-6923
  4. "Nattering nabobs of negativism listen up" is a play on Safire's genius ability of our language. Pubby's right, this is a loss to our civilization and our culture of who we have become.
  5. In honor of this amazing weather, I'll give anyone that ships anything 10% off today. Don't tell UPS since I'm not supposed to discount shipping. Bring your waterwings, and remember to mention this offer. Glenn
  6. Im at 49.50 for 1000 full color two sided 16pt Glossy. Not to knock vista, but they hurt localy owned business that support our communities. Glenn
  7. No, but watch a christmas story, and then watch its sequel....."Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss" 1989 it will bring you back to the proper season...
  8. I tried that argument too. Heck, I've been paying the $12 per week charge for years just so people had a place to drop their larger boxes. Those things wont fit in drop boxes in front of the post office. I'm going to write a letter to Fred Smith the CEO, and fellow Marine.
  9. FEDEX hates me, and al the other UPS Stores in the area....
  10. The shipping center is indeed the last one left. I just talked to Martha at the 61 & 278 Kroger UPS Store, and she got the call too. Her FEDEX driver told her that his supervisor rode with him last week, and he reported it to the corporate office. OH well....
  11. I tried that too. There are independent mailbox stores that ship all three. However, the lesser major brands around me have all closed. I own the UPS Store rights for the Cedarcrest area all the way out to 61 and Dabbs Bridge. I plan on placing a store at the Cedarcrest Publix to make up for the closure of the smaller independent stores, but I hate not being able to offer that service to my customers. I guess the best analogy is that I have a contract with coke, and happened to be selling pepsi as well. In this case it looks like pepsi is unhappy. Wait, how come we cant have peps
  12. I tried the neighbor thing too. They did not want to hear it. I suggested that Liberty Tax next to me would be more than happy to be the pickup site.... Nope they do not want to play.
  13. I even tried to have them change the pickup addess to my corporate office. They wanted to know if that said UPS Store on it as well, and I told them that the birdhouse in my front yard would clash with any large corporate signs. They refused to even change the pickup to my house. I'm trying ya'll, because I know so many of you bring in drop offs because there is no closer location. I think it is simply a customer service issue. You all know that being a Marine, I am tricky, devious and bear ever constant watching..... I'll do my best to figure a way around their game......
  14. I just got a call from FEDEX, and the gig is up! They will no longer pick up packages from my store. When UPS Stores boughtout Mail Boxes Etc six years ago, FEDEX was our major shipper. After the buyout they stepped away from the table. I had the account set up under my corporate name, but apparently the driver has turned me in. No amount of pleading, or begging, or mentioning I had an account and pay a 12.00 per week pick fee mattered. As of tonight, I cannot accept FEDEX drop off packages any longer. I have no idea where one can go to drop a FEDEX package now since any other
  15. Elite Roofing took care of my roof, and did a marvelous job. The better part was that Scott just moved in two doors down. Now, being the new guy in the neighborhood, Scott (Elite Roofing) was putting himself out on a limb by bidding on a neighbors roof. One can only imagine the ramifications if something went wrong. (Think Hatfield and McCoys) He really rose to the challenge. They had the materials there the day prior, the rollaway showed up the morning of, an entire crew knocked out the complete job in a full day, and he did it for a more than fair price. I'm a happy camper, and gl
  16. I'm currently on active duty with the Marines working at Mobilization Command. I do not believe that that type of info is available anywhere except from looking directly in his service record book. On one of our pages it details each duty station, unit, and position held for each time period following our careers. However, I think that that information is not available in digital form. The hard part would be getting hold of that record book. I know for a fact that the record book of my roomate from the basic school sits on the 1st floor of the building I work in. I bought a bri
  17. Do not have it done simply on the recommendation of one company. Especially someone working door to door. I had three quotes, and there was a significant difference between all three. In the end I let Scott at Elite Roofing (commerce member here) do the job, and it was pure perfection.
  18. Not a lawyer, but the young man out of Douglas that was sentenced to 10 years for child molestation remained in jail long after the state made what he did not a crime. Remember he got orally pleasured by his girlfriend who was 16, and he was 17. Daddy found out, and he went to jail as a felon. They did let him out after 3+ years.
  19. I just want to know why at the beginning of the dell lollipop commercial, the very beginning, the lights are off, one guy stands up from being at waist level of the other guy, and is fastening his overalls? What's that all about?
  20. That looks just like a ball python that got out of his aquarium. That is no worm like head...
  21. It is a LAN IP address inside our shop. The program, when engaged needs to monitor a copier's data page at a specific IP address. It needs to capture the copiers count data that shows me how many copies are presently on the machine. The information is currently presented on an explorer web page. That data would change after more copies are made if the page were to be refreshed. The program would need to be able to see the new data, compare that to the previously stored data and then show the value change between the two. In short, I want to be able to tell how many copies just got ma
  22. I need a capable webdeveloper that can write a program that will: 1. capture a data table inside a static IP address, 2. store that table, (on a seperate machine inside the Network) 3. automatically detect any change in that captured table data, 4. then produce a new table showing the delta between the two. 5. It must function in a windows environment. If you have the skills, it should be simple. 150$ cash payable on a working demonstration. Thanks,
  23. Unfortuantely, I am guilty of being for the businessman, and against our elected officials spending billions of our tax dollars on failing organizations. I am against our officials using our tax dollars to dominate and control free enterprise and to do that under the guise of Helping us. When I get back from this most recent depoloyment with the Marines, I will count myself lucky to envision you standing in line at the post office... Glenn
  24. "Thanks for that post. I know what UPS store I will NOT be visiting anytime soon" Um, Ouch , I think.....
  25. 7 Billion in the hole, but they are spending tons ands tons of money to advertise, especially the flat rate box commercials. Why does a government entity even spend money on advertising? Are there actually citizens that did not know there is a post office. The worst part is that even though they are supposed to be an independent organization not funded through our tax dollars, guess who is getting a bail out next. Meanwhile at the same time the government stands ready to "rescue" the post office, DHL failed costing thousands of jobs Fedex revenue has been cut in half (more
