  1. Looks to me like the mother is gearing up for a huge lawsuit--she thinks she is going to get really rich off of this. Sometimes all that media crap can backfire on you.
  2. YET another reason why I don't think I could ever be married again!!!
  3. I used to use Murphy's Oil Soap. It worked really well to get the red dirt out of my son's uniform. You can rub a little on the worst spots (I used an old toothbrush) and then use it instead of washing powders. It also works great to get grease out of clothes, whether it be mechanics grease or grease splatters from cooking!!
  4. Yeah, my friend that lives in PCB was telling me about her car tags and such the other day. They go by the weight of the car and the tax does not go down as the car value goes down. It stays the same every year. She has a new Tahoe and a 90's model 300Z (with about 60K miles) and she pays about $700 a year for her car tags!!
  5. I have been going to Maui Beach (dallas Highway beside Walmart) for years. They also have shops on Whitlock in the Kroger shopping center and the Kroger shopping center across from The Avenues. I have never paid over $40 a month and that gives me access to every single bed they have. Some of these places are such ripoffs.
  6. There are not many out here. I work in the Cumberland/Vinings area. The only ones I know of are in the shopping center where Best Buy is and one in the strip at Cumberland Parkway and Paces Ferry.
  7. I have never done it, but I have several friends (at the beach) that do it. These girls are in their 40's and in REALLY GOOD SHAPE and it still kicks their butts. Both of them are runners (at least 5 miles every morning) and used to working out with weights and such. It is not for anybody that is not in really good shape already.
  8. Believe it or not, I still use the same boots that I got when I was 16 yrs old--I am now 53. Goes to show you that things are made different. I did replace everything except the boot about 7-8 yrs ago. Glad I did it then, while I had a wholesale contact!! Even then, the replacement plates, wheels and bearings were almost $400 retail. And my old boot is a Reidell boot--just a white high boot from the 70's.
  9. And of course, they only grow it for medicinal purposes!!!
  10. I used to work with a girl that her brother moved to Washington for that very purpose. He works/or owns (can't remember) his own pot farm.
  11. I did not see the women as they were being pulled from the rink--both of my grown sons did. I will say that the gang outside for questioning did not impress me at all. Let's just say that there were some very strange folks up there Saturday!!
  12. Ingles was never where Sport A Rama is--it was a Food Giant. And I think it was Reed's Drug Store and then a Revco???
  13. Could not help but think it was rather funny Saturday, while at a birthday party at Sparkles, and they had to break up a fight between 2 "women" (and I use that term loosely) and drag one outside. Now, remember, this is during a matinee session when it is mainly small children and their parents. Although, I am not sure that the "women" actually purchased the alcohol at the rink, their employees at the door should have caught on to the fact that they were intoxicated and not let them in. As I was leaving, the Hiram PD had a gang of folks out front questioning them.
  14. Gotta go with Sam Elliot. Never was into John Wayne!!
  15. Yes, I do. I quit going back around 2007--my knee just got too bad. I hate what they have done to the place. For many years, Saturday nights were for "families" and it give the parents a time to actually skate and enjoy themselves. Then came the climbing thing and everything else and it was like they didn't want us up there any longer--because all we wanted to do was SKATE!!! It all come down to the fact that we weren't spending enough money by just skating. Funny thing is, now that my grandkids are going--we still ONLY SKATE!! And most of the time, they only drink water while there--so we sti
  16. Yep--She think my tractors sexy by Kenny Chesney is a good one. And Gone by Montgomery Gentry. I took my CD with Gone up there years ago and had Michael play it. He didn't want to at first--but then everybody liked it and for a while it was a regular on Saturday nights. Lets get this party started by Pink is also a good one.
  17. Get Ready by Rare Earth??? I love that one too!!
  18. Oh no--You might regret this!!! I have a few. 1. All Right Now by Free 2. Party Train by the Gap Band 3. Harlem Shuffle by the Rolling Stones 4. Lie to me by Jonny Lang 5. You Dropped a Bomb on Me by the Gap Band 6. Early inthe Morning by the Gap Band And there are more, but I can't hink of them and my Ipod is DEAD!!! Some of these are from as way back as the 70's at Crescent Park and some are from a few years ago.
  19. If I could give you 1000 +'s, I would!!! You are exactly right. If you only knew!!!
  20. Although I have not been skating for about 6 yrs, my grandchildren have started going. They go to the Saturday and Sunday matinee sessions so far. Sparkels changed drastically when they put in the gym thing and made it a "family fun center". Me being old school--never liked it. My grandkids have never been on it and won't. They go there to skate. If they want to play on some climbing thing, then we will go elsewhere where there is more to do. Poor Albert--he is tumbling in his grave right now and probably has been for years. It has become about the al mighty dollar--and that's it, which is sad
  21. The only good thing about today is---traffic was breeze this morning!!!
  22. I just cannot stomach Honey Boo Boo, but I love to watch Duck Dynasty!! I have a friend that will not watch Duck Dynasty. Says that she can't handle the stupidity of the show and how they portray the people, but she loves to watch Honey Boo Boo??? That makes no sense to ma at all. I think Honey Boo Boo is ten time worse than Duck Dynasty!!
  23. A friend of mine, that lives in PCB, says they do it (Zumba classes) down there with the lights off--so nobody will be embarrassed!!
  24. Did not like the girls at all. I do think Keith Urban did a good job. You can tell that he is looking for somebody that has real talent and I think he might be a pretty hard judge. I am afraid that this might be their last season if they keep these 2 girls!!
  25. I have a couple of the CD's for Zumba. It is much harder than you think!! I felt like a white boy with 4 left feet!! And I have some rhythm, have roller skated all my life (up until about 6 yrs ago when my knee give out). My friend told me to forget about the CD that just slowly goes through the steps and start with the one showing the whole dance and it would me much easier, but I haven't tried that yet.
