I joined the Army and shipped off to Ft. Leonard Wood a month after graduation and a month before my 18th birthday. I actually had the pleasure of testing out my gas mask on my 18th birthday. Walk in the gas chamber, all is well until the drill sergeant makes you take it off and spit out your name and rank. AHHH fun times! I stayed with my parents after I got out of the Army for about a month before I got married and got my own place.
