I have on the back of my credit cards as well as my debit cards "SEE ID". Rarely does anyone ask for it but when they do I thank them for doing so.

In a word: NO However, as I understand flexible spending accounts, OTC products can be used in that case.

Not necessarily. It could be that the price of the land just isn't high enough to justify a commission in the view of the current owner. However, I would advise the OP to be sure to make the purchase contingent on the property being buildable if that is the intended future use. We purchased land in Florida and had that as a contingency. Only once the appropriate tests were done (perc test in particular) did we close on the purchase. NOTE TO OP: PM me and I will be glad to give you some additional pointers. I have purchased both houses and vacant land without agents and feel pr

What she said! Buying vacant land without an agent is much, much easier than buying a house without an agent. We have done both, more than once.

Hey, Here's a good one....how did you get your display name?

Starr and Dru(silla) are my granddaughters. I started out as Mama Carol, which is what my stepdaughters called me. I then changed to Grandmama Carol when my daughter told me she was pregnant. After that, I became Starr's Nana because my granddaughter is named Starr and I'm her Nana. Then when the sex and name of the next granddaughter was determined, I changed to Starr & Dru's Nana to honor them both. That's Druci's picture to the left. -
I have three--my husband, Renee and Debbie. I'd include another close friend in there but can't consider him a "best friend" but a "dear, wonderful friend".

Just be aware that if something happens and what you did is WRONG, you can't use the fact that the IRS told you how to do it as your defense. Yeah, I know, it sucks.

Just having kept my 20 month old granddaughter for the weekend, I'd say to keep an 8 year old and a 2 1/2 year old it would cost at LEAST $5,000. Seriously, the $275 someone mentioned would be fair and then a good bonus. Maybe a gift card or something for the bonus/tip.

Nick, Now that my newest granddaughter is here, I definitely need to get both of them together and get a portrait of them. All I need is some coordination of timing. That's all.

Wish I could give that day but can't. Have an appointment with the hematologist on the 18th and won't give until I see him. Hopefully, I can go back to donating after that. Hubby usually gives when I do, or especially if supplies are low, but he will be out of town next week.

I love Aspen. It's my favorite. My second favorite is Eternity. Third favorite is Preferred Stock.

They do require an appointment. But you can do both--get the photos and apply for your passport--at the same place and same time.

Not the first time that sort of thing has happened in that area. Several years ago a car ran into the service station across from the hospital.

You definitely need something that is an anti-inflammatory and Tylenol just isn't. I find the naproxen works better for me but I know people who swear by ibuprofen. I have to be really careful about anything I take because of liver issues and the naproxen (Aleve) is supposed to be safer than ibuprofen. It works very well, at least for me. It doesn't do a thing for my husband.

Warm shower with the water hitting your arms. Anti-inflammatory of ibuprofen or naproxen. Massage them with alcohol or Ben Gay or something similar. Flex and stretch them as much as you can. That will help the soreness.

I am so sorry. Hugs to you and the rest of your family. My father in law waited until his sister arrived from south Georgia. He passed away just minutes after she arrived. I know what you mean about you'll miss her until your last day. I will always miss my brother Ray (1941-1974) and my sister Jan (1934-2000), no matter how many years since they left this life or the fact that there were so many years between them and me. Hugs and more hugs to you. She doesn't have to suffer any longer. May that bring peace to you.

Younger than me. I read the article from the link but didn't see his age. Thanks for posting it.

That is the only reality show we watch! Even though we don't watch it every week, we watch it most of the time. If we miss one, I know where I can go to catch up--to visit MsMusic!! Hope he gets well soon. He's relatively young, too, isn't he? 40s maybe? I'm 55 so anything younger than late 40s is young to me.

but it was worth it. We had a blast with her. Glad she's home but still had a blast while she was here. The new baby is home now as well. Took forever and a day to get her checked out but they are home, adjusting to life with a new baby and a 20 month old. I am soooooooooo glad it is them and not me.

If memory serves me correctly, one of the qualifications for getting earned income credit is filing jointly if married. Filing married separate disqualifies you. I should have looked at all the replies. Brain dead today, I guess.

I have a friend who used TaxCut last year. Their return was rejected to start with because her husband's birthdate was incorrect on SS records. They filed with the date the Social Security Administration had and it was accepted. After the return was processed, he went and had the birthdate corrected on the SSA records. Apparently, they had no problems this year. FYI, it wasn't TurboTax that caught the error. It was the verification process that is done when a return is filed electronically. We would generally have 4 or 5 returns rejected due to incorrect names or birthdates every y

Yesterday--Saturday the 30th--I went to see my brand new grandbaby. Born at 10:26 yesterday morning. -
here is a link to the tax commissioner and tax assessors websites: http://www.cobbcountyga.gov/tax/ You should be able to get virtually any information you need from there, or e-mail them if you have questions. I have found they generally reply very quickly. Good luck.
