I LOVE that show! My dad never really liked it, even though he served in the Army. I really hated to hear this about the actor as he apparently suffered with the cancer for a year.

Who all heard the loud explosion around 6 ish pm?

I don't know what caused it this time. However, I have heard and felt a sonic boom from a larger meteor before that was reported up and down the east coast, so it can happen. I am very sensitive to vibrations in the air or if they come through our house. I have felt earthquakes in this area that were reported as less than a 3.0, yet my husband doesn't feel any of them. I have literally HEARD my glass doors on one of my china cabinets shaking from a vibration after I felt it while sitting on our couch, yet my husband sitting 3 foot away from me did not feel it! Thank you for the head's up Brian. My husband will be working in Kentucky that week and it sounds like it will be getting extremely cold.

How? The highs and lows for Saturday should be in the 40s and the Sunday highs and lows should be in the 50s. Here is an extended forecast. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?x=104&y=95&site=ffc&zmx=&zmy=&map_x=104&map_y=95#.WGassX3dbp4

Actually we still have an almost a 15 inch precipitation deficit to make up for before we would even reach AVERAGE precipitation levels for the year. So, the drought is not ending! Northwest Georgia is still in a level D4 drought. Here is a link to some drought information through The National Weather Service. http://www.weather.gov/ffc/raindef

Here in New Hope we had a huge one to show up for years in our backyard after heavy rains. They like to eat earthworms and grubs. It was a huge gentle giant. However, there was a momma possum with her babies that stayed at night in a tree in my grandmother's front yard. That gal was mean as hell with protectiveness over her babies!

I have never been, but I have a half sister who has been several times. The possum is not live. It is stuffed.

This is almost the exact same way that my brother in law of 20 years died several years ago. Only he was getting off an interstate and he was thrown headfirst into an oncoming vehicle, so he passed away instantly. However, it was the same thing with the vehicle in front of him braking and he clipped a corner of the bumper as he was trying to stop in time. His accident was probably going at a higher rate of speed than this accident though as he and the vehicle ahead were just getting off the interstate. I will send out my prayers for the family and the drivers for peace and comfort. Motorcy

No picture or approximate age? That would be a good start to locate a good home. Also, he or she really needs to be scanned for a microchip, just in case. Long hair cats are not usually good barn kitties due to hair matting if it isn't brushed, so I wonder if it was a pet.

It wasn't from Amazon nor was it through UPS. I will call the credit card company and see what they say. Thank you for the advise.

We've lived here in East Paulding/New Hope for 18.5 years. I've lived in Paulding for 47 years. For the first time we have had a package stolen from our porch. It was delivered at 545pm yesterday by US Postal Service Priority Mail. They confirmed delivery via satellite photo of our driveway, with the postal truck on it at the time of delivery & via their driver. The weird thing is I stay at home & I didn't catch them! I am ALWAYS at home & I stay locked & loaded! Now I have to contact the sheriff's office and the sender. Good grief! By the way, since the post office has proof

It was lifted, but we are under severe restrictions. We are still in a drought because we didn't receive 16+ inches of rain. They are requesting everyone to get a burn permit first. These winds have really picked up today, so there is that issue to consider as well. I like the sound of your deep burn pit!

Does anyone know if Emerald City will be a movie or a new series? For those who didn't catch the date it is 1/6/17 on NBC.

I grew up in Georgia. Being the oldest grandchild I was very close to my 3 remaining grandparents (my paternal grandfather passed away before I was born.) I was taught some old fashioned ways to do things as a result. However, I have NEVER even heard of Soap Sally! LOL Isn't polk salad toxic if you don't eat the right part of the plant?

There is a new one coming out soon about a man with MANY different personalities called "Split" that my husband and I want to see. Nocturnal Animals might turn out to be good. The Autopsy of Jane Doe looks like it may be a decent looking horror/supernatural movie (I think that was the title.) While we are on the subject, it looks like a sci-fi version of the Wizard of Oz will be coming out called "Emerald City". I didn't think it sounded good and thought at first that there would be no way it could be a remake of the original and be good, but the trailer has me now saying "Interesting conc

Don't forget the 7.6 earthquake and tsunami in New Zealand!

From what I read it is about 1 mile from where the leak in September occurred. Either way I still need some as I have an emission's inspection that is due.

Well in my case I never even got a fill up since before the shortage last month. I tried to find some but not a drop of premium was to be found. Fortunately I usually stay at home.

This sounds a lot like the S.Carolina state militia my dad is involved in.

There is a 30% chance of showers Thursday, so we shall see. I am with you and can't wait for some rain to clean the air! I can feel it with my breathing for weeks now. You are correct. I read this the other day in order to let my husband know. Here is a link to the Paulding Calendar that gives the information for the locations, what days and times they will be open, etc. http://www.paulding.gov/calendar.aspx

From what I have read, Cooper had been using a forward facing seat that is normal for his age and put into a rear facing seat that is too small. That and the fact that Mr. Harris used a parking space that he normally didn't use and backed into it, which he also normally did not do and he also had Copper in HIS ARMS while in ChikFilA, those 3 things have me thinking probable 2nd degree. However, I do not think there is enough proof of premeditation for 1st degree. He will probably get at a MINIMUM of manslaughter and child cruelty. Also, while it is highly likely that Cooper was too dehydrated

We have indoor cats. The only thing they do to our tree is lay under it!

I agree about contacting the Paulding Historical Society. They run the Paulding Roots Facebook page. I am sure if you call Sara Babb Library in Dallas they can tell you how to contact the Paulding Historical Society. The society keeps a LOT of Paulding's history on file with paperwork, photos, newspapers and microfilms, including family trees and church histories. This is a good thing that you are doing and you should be commended for trying to save it!

I just read that Burke and his lawyer are now planning to sue CBS and one of the doctors from this show because they are hypothesizing that it was Burke who done this.
