Channel 2 WSB-TV is now saying only that the body pulled from the lake and the missing little girl from East Point are connected. They will not say how. They are saying that she is deceased. Her parents are being questioned but police will not name any suspects.

TV weatherman retracts story about toxic bacteria at Florida beaches
msgastorm replied to Blondiega1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It may be ecoli at the beaches on the EAST side of the gulf, but on the WEST side of the gulf, specifically Houston, they are having a problem with the flesh eating bacteria in the water. There are several cases of people getting it in Houston and the news reports are showing pictures of people's flesh. I have a friend who lives in Houston that showed me their news report from there. I think this is how the mixup occurred. I do know that this ecoli range at the beaches in and around the Destin area is showing counts of over 900+ when the hazardous range starts at 70! I wouldn't swim in it. -

Thank you for the heads up. My husband will be flying into Hartsfield tomorrow. -
Dr. Johnson is leaving? He is my backup if Dr. Meeker isn't in. We just lost one 15 yr old cat to renal failure and we now have a 10 yr old with heart disease that Dr. Meeker is treating. So we have been in there frequently lately.

Is there ever a good time for your A/C to go out?

CoolRay! They do after hours calls and emergencies too. I believe you get a small discount for making the appointment online instead of calling. I wouldn't recommend Ragsdale to my worst enemy! They had 3 chances with me and lost a $17,000 sale because of their rudeness, unprofessional techniques and attitude. They will never be welcome back on our property. -
Four vets at Hiram Animal Hospital? We see Dr. Meeker there and have for 15-16 years. As far as I know there is Dr. Carpenter, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Meeker. When did they hire a 4th and what is their name?

Postman, this is the company I am planning to check out for myself. http://www.mobilityworks.com/mobilityworks-locations/atlanta-ga.php Their closest location is in Kennesaw. They sell the wheelchair or scooter lifts that can then be installed by them into a vehicle. They also sell vans, some pickups and SUVs that have the lifts already installed. Most of these also have an area where the person would pull their wheelchair into place at the steering wheel INSTEAD OF them using the installed driver's seat. Some can be adapted for those who can't use their legs. I don't know what type of car he -
A pawn shop or gold place will give her the LEAST amount for it. Try Prestige Jewelers in Hiram or tell her to list it with an ad and an appraisal. Prestige can also do written appraisals. I doubt that a chain jewelry store will buy it since it is used.

Yes, an attempt at a new bone graft could be tried. However, after having the molar pulled it did not help my TMJ pain issues on that side of my jaw. I still felt a lot of TMJ pain (severe jaw pain that causes earaches) after the removal, so I decided not to tried again for a bone graft in order to try an implant. IF a bone graft would take in that socket, putting the hardware in may cause my TMJ issues to become worse. Unfortunately It looks like my crowns on roots at my front teeth may need replacing with implants, so I will probably still need to try implants there and in another molar area

Lowrider, I think Laurie had an implant done a couple of years ago, didn't she? I believe she did and hers was successful. When I had a back molar removed a little over a year ago it was infected. Even so the doctor went ahead and placed a bone graft in the socket, hoping that we could put in an implant later. Well, my bone graft didn't ever take. I went in for monthly oral ultrasounds for 5 months to check on the graft and it just never started growing at all, so I didn't get the implant put in because there was a strong chance it wouldn't hold or "take" since my bone graft I needed didn't ta

Here is a video of the boiler coming through the left hand turn at Industrial Boulevard and Hwy 101 in Villa Rica. Apparently the back end is controlled through a remote by an assistant. Can you imagine if this kind of stuff had to be replaced all of the time? I didn't count all of the axles, but a kid in the video was apparently counting them. https://www.facebook.com/stephanie.r.wise/posts/10153410191012030 https://www.facebook.com/stephanie.r.wise/posts/10153410191012030

A boiler going to plant Bowen (sp?) in Cartersville. It started from Alabama, down I-20 east, then up 101 from Villa Rica through Paulding. I think after that it hit 113? I have aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides of my family that live on 101. They got woken up and took some late night photos of the procession. Also, a friend of mine posted about it before it ever left Alabama. This thing was wider than a trailer and I think I read about 15 foot tall with wide load and police escorts. It had to stop at the Alabama line for state troopers to verify the specs early Thursday morning. They

During this time of year you will need a burn permit. The burn must happen during the daytime, be less than 8x8 and winds less than 10mph, with a permit. Here are a few of the web pages for this info and how to obtain a permit. http://www.paulding.gov/FAQ.aspx?QID=71 http://www.gfc.state.ga.us/online-permits/GeorgiaBurnBan.cfm http://epd.georgia.gov/air/summer-open-burning-ban -

My uncle doesn't live in a subdivision. He owns his own acreage, so acreage doesn't mean anything regarding neighbors and burning in this county. We have grown too much too fast. As for me living on acreage, we had wanted to, but with me being alone so much AND disabled with my conditions becoming worse, we don't think it will be safe for me to live on acreage somewhere. -

I am with you on this. I have asthma and live in the New Hope Area. My uncle has advanced COPD and lives in south Paulding. We BOTH have problems with people burning trash, leaves, whatever. Yes, we do keep windows and doors closed with AC on, etc. It still gets inside the house. When you are giving not only me an asthma attack, but attacking my uncle and my asthmatic cat as well while we are having to STAY INSIDE our homes, then I have a BIG problem with you and your burning of ANYTHING! Something like this can put my uncle into the hospital for a few days to a week. Yes, I am being serious. -

Yes. It is banned from I believe May 1st until sometime around October. However, burning household trash is completely illegal year round and has been for a few years now. -
3-year-old killed in accidental shooting in Paulding County

Yes, the typical gun safe cannot be accessed quickly in the event of an intruder. HOWEVER, today some gun safes are made with a fingerprint reader. All it takes is the swipe of the programmed fingerprint to open the safe to a loaded firearm. If you need to keep your firearms locked away, but want to keep one out and loaded "just in case", then I would suggest investing in this type of gun safe and keeping it close at hand. We do not have children in our home, so we keep them loaded all over the house. I hate to see that someone has lost such a beautiful child. The family will be in my pray
