  1. Don't get the drop down box when I go to Facebook Ads. It was a firefox thing. I get it in IE. By default it looks like it is already set to No One. At least mine was. Gives me a little hope in Facebook if they automatically have people opted out.
  2. I have the OnStar also but don't have the turn by turn. I don't really see the point in paying every year for something you might not really use but once or twice. I can get a GPS for same as a year subscription to the turn by turn and only pay once. I also like to have a graphic interface like with the GPS along with the spoken words. Makes it a little easier to judge how close you are getting to your turn or how much farther you have to go to get there.
  3. I do it all the time. It helps you concentrate on finding the address. I also don't like distractions like people in the car asking me a bunch of questions while I am trying to search for something. Thank goodness I bought a GPS makes it a little easier but I still turn down the radio and have shuss the other people in the car. :p
  4. Yes was bald or did not have much hair thus the wigs. With all the money he had he could have bought a better nose.
  5. The location was originally going to be a subdivision and a model home was even build there. Part of the land was even developed for the sub division then the bottom fell out of the market.
  6. Exactly I don't see them opening this year. Not sure I would want to send my kid to a school that was built in less then 5 months.
  7. Looks like they are putting in a new Elementary School, #11, on Ivy Gulledge Rd just down the road from Old Cartersville Rd. Interesting thing is it says it will open in Fall 2009. Not sure how they plan to do that when they just now started to do the ground work. I would imagine once the school is done they will redraw the school district for that area.
  8. Don't worry, once we all have universal coverage none of these mistakes will happen. Of course a good number of people will probably die while waiting for treatment but heck that just means more for the rest of us.
  9. Metro Atlanta police agencies will run concentrated patrols on I-285, I-85, I-75 and I-20 on Thursday. It’s part of Georgia’s “100 Days of Summer HEAT,” which stands for highway enforcement of aggressive traffic. The crackdown includes traffic enforcement units from DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Henry, Cobb, Clayton and Fayette counties and the cities of Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Union City.
  10. Depends when the building was built.
  11. Any way should they do anything else. There is no political gain from it. /s
  12. I like to rearrange things now and then. Helps keep it clean and neat and from going stale.
  13. That cop should be fired. What if the girls father died?
  14. chiropractor. Most places will work with you if your insurance does not cover it. Medical doctors just treat the symptoms, not the cause. I have had chronic low back and neck pain ever since I got injured in the Army. Medical doctors just treat with pain meds which are only temporary. Once I started seeing a Chiro the pain got much less and I could easily go a month without pain. Have not seen a chiro in over 2 years and I am still doing much better then before I started seeing them.
  15. Still waiting on my money from the Nigerians.
  16. The old "going with the flow of the traffic" excuse. Does not matter what everyone else was doing, he got caught. Just another reason why I set my cruise control at 9 over the limit and don't worry about what other drivers are doing. They can speed all they want, your only "innocent" till you get caught. Good luck. Going to court will some times get the fine reduced and they might let you make some payments. NOLO just means if they accept your plea it will not show up on your record. Atlanta traffic court is bad. Back in the day when they use to take your licens
  17. Just got back from DC on Saturday. Spent 2 full days there. Most of the monuments are all within walking distance of each other as well as the majority of the museums. We just rode the METRO to the closes stations then walked from there. Best not to try to drive in DC just to many cars and not enough parking places. Our hotel was only a 10 minute walk to the METRO so we just got a day pass. The Capital Building is only 2 miles from Lincoln Memorial with most of the other memorials/Monuments in between. Best to get a map and guide and plan out what you want to see. E
  18. Well you have cracked the top 20. Only 23 more posts to go till #1.
  19. Had both mine done at Paulding Animal Hospital. Think it was total $85 each but that included getting them fixed. Just call around to different Vets. Sure they are all about the same. There was not any effect on them after it was done once they got use to it. They would still try to scratch. For the first few days you will have to use like shredded newspaper for their litter box and remember that once you declawed them you will pretty much want them to be indoor only cats.
  20. I usually don't respond to this sort of stuff but I have been following the Aston saga and am very saddened to hear of his passing. I hope that his mom can find peace and comfort in what time she was able to spend with him and know that he is probably in a better place now.
  21. The stupidity of it is the politicians are protecting their jobs at the expense of lives. Now don't get me wrong I am totally against seat belt laws because I do not feel it is the Governments job to protect us from ourselves. If you don't want to wear your seat belt that should be your choice. But it should also be the State and the Insurance companies choice NOT to cover your injuries if they were caused by you not wearing a seat belt. Actions have consequences. The primary reason the State politicians vote against truck seat belts is to get the rural vote. The "farm" folks cla
