What are the tunnels? I don't remember hearing about this. Serious or a joke?

Oh, I think he's hiding a lot. He seems like an Eddie Haskell type to me, but I doubt he's homosexual.

I don't trust Oxendine and Deal as far as I can throw 'em. I will ALMOST vote for Barnes over either of them...ALMOST. Please don't let it come to THAT choice! I've been waivering between Handel and Johnson. I was leaning toward Johnson, but after the debates, I really like Handel better. Johnson claims to be strong on ethics and appears to have a strong Christian faith, which is important to me...but he has been a leader in the GA legislature so long, I think he may be too establishment and same old same old that I DON'T want anymore. He's very supportive of the Rep Party and is bla

Makes you not want to vote for ANYONE.

I'm guilty of #2. I don't SLAM, but I do apply my breaks out of habit. I've had tickets recently and do NOT want another.

My grandmother used to cut the legs off of old pantyhose, put onions in them, and hang them up. You tie a knot between each onion so they don't touch and then just cut above each onion but below the knot whenever you need to use one. I bought some onions at Burger's Market near the Post Office in Dallas and they weren't too high, but I don't remember what I payed. I was more impressed with the sale on Avocados.

Oooh I didn't even think about that. I've put my hands in it and let my dog drink out of it :0

Tussy is an OLD brand name of deodorant. My grandmother used it in the cream form. She never went to the roll on or push up applicators we use. The problem with the Tussy cream was that it left your armpits tacky all day.

That was my thought when I read the original post. I thought the front room should be the parlor (said with a Scarlett O'hara accent) and the other room can be called family, living, or den...take a family vote. If you don't like the parlor name, put a bunch of books in it and call it the library or study.

I tip but 20% seems a little high in my opinion.

Oh didn't realize it was finished.

I'll have to add cilantro to my list, too. According to Rachel Ray, a certain percentage of the population has some enzyme that causes cilantro to taste like soap. I'm one of those people. I can handle a little in salsa or mixed in to other flavorful foods, but a lot of it tastes like parsley with dish soap added.

Drive In Theater - What's the last 1st run movie
Mariposa replied to chindog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes. I looked it up and I would have seen it in June of '85. I would imagine the drive-in wasn't open much longer after that. Does anyone remember when the Judean Drive-In closed? -

I think the last I saw was "Perfect" a cheesy early 80s workout movie with Travolta and what's her name. -

Bartlett House in Dallas? anyone know where this is?
Mariposa replied to JuliaG's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It is an older home that did get a huge remodel by the Kellys. It wasn't ever a plantation house. I believe it was built around 1900, maybe a little earlier, but well after the plantation era. -
I used some Sunsilk leave-in cond. for a while, but haven't been able to find it in a long time. I wonder if they stopped making it.

I understand completely, I've tried the cheap stuff, but I always go back to Pantene. My hair is thick, coarse, and curly. I HAVE to use certain types of conditioner and additional products to get it soft. Depends on how oily your hair is, but curly can usually handle it. I started going to not shampooing for several days and only using conditioner. Keeps it from drying out. If I straighten it, I can even go two days without washing it at all. I bought a big sized shampoo and it lasted almost a year. It won't save on conditioner, but it will save on shampoo. Big Lots has the big size

I bought a Mac laptop a couple of years ago and NEVER again. Cost was very high, had many problems, and no easy fix. I had to drive to Atlanta, Lennox or Northpoint EVERY time something went wrong. Also, I am a teacher and needed to transfer info back and forth between school and laptop. I bought the correct software but things did not transfer correctly. Powerpoints from school would play on laptop, but not vice versa. Most word documents transferred with errors such as margins messed up, some fonts didn't transfer, was a pain to go back and correct everything. Unless there is an A
