How about a civil discussion on the 19th district race
Mariposa replied to lotstodo's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Home grown, related, and connected is not ALWAYS a bad thing. There are some good, honest people from here who have not run the county in the ground for personal benefit. But I do see how someone could form a negative opinion based on the actions of some. I am in support of the whole "glorify Christ" thing as long as it is genuine. Not everyone who claims it, lives it. Not that people can't be human and mess up; I do every day. edited because glofify is not a word -
How about a civil discussion on the 19th district race
Mariposa replied to lotstodo's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I haven't decided who I'm going to vote for, yet. It seems in almost every election, national, state, and local, I have to chose who makes my stomach turn the least. I'm always weighing which negative am I more likely to be able to take. In this case, I think I can probably live more with Stout's past transgressions since he was very young and seems to live in very different manner, now. That's what I'm thinking now, but it may change. -

How do some people even make it out of school?
Mariposa replied to ihaveadog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nuh uh. She can comfortably say at this point, time, and place she knows a lot on this topic. She can diligently make whatever assumptions she want too where necessary. -

Years ago I had a co-worker, a college grad, from SC. She had lived in the same small town until college. She could not tell me what part of the state she was from or what her town was near because she was "not good with maps." She had me looking on a map near the coast. Turns out, she was from the opposite end of the state near Spartanburg. She also once put a wooden spoon in a moving blender trying to stir it. The whole batch was ruined with splinters. Her response, giggling "How was I supposed to know it would do that?" -

Thank you Paulding, thank you candidates!
Mariposa replied to nickchester's topic in Paulding County NEWS
That would be a hit to your self esteem. -
At least we're not the district that pretty much just re-elected Hank Johnson, the guy who thinks that the island of Guam may tip over.

I use them and I've never had any problems. In fact, my mother used E Pldg Vet for years. Her dog had already been diagnosed by them, but over the holidays, the dog's pain increased. They would not give us anything more for pain without another apptmnt and did not have time available to give us an appointment. In fact, I was only able to speak to the front desk and was never even able to talk to the vet. I called my vet in New GA, explained the situation, and they helped us out to get the dog comfortable until the problem could be fixed. They were just as busy as E. Pldg but were willing t

I hear you about not buying everything last minute, but just be aware that even if you buy the basics, some teachers will have special requests at open house. Usually its not anything unusual or too costly. IF YOU BUY A FLASH DRIVE(JUMP DRIVE, THUMB DRIVE...ETC) make sure that it is not the kind that requires the computer to install files. Even teachers don't have install rights on the computers so the device can not be used in Paulding Schools.

Someone at DFCS should be able to tell you. If the person is on Medicaid, she should have a case mgr. If he/she's not available, if you can find an agency that works with mentally disabled adults, they should be able to tell you who they use. There may not be any dentists in this area, but there should be some in Atlanta.

I had this 2 years ago, but did not realize until weeks later. I had a really bad cold for a few days with a fever, felt better after a few days but never got back to 100% for weeks. One day I got to work early, had a coughing fit on the way in and it gagged me to the point I got sick, but did not feel any worse than I had for weeks. No nausea. I went about my business and ended getting sick after coughing 4 more times in one hour. I went straight to the doctor and they gave me nausea meds which I didn't even fill. A few days later I saw on the news about a Whooping Cough outbreak in Cobb

I heard that Animal is actually the campaign manager for one of the candidates that opposes Beverly Cochran. Is this true? It would explain some of the topics he posted.

Father, Girlfriend Says They Found Genesis Sims Dead In Shower

If an allegation is made but the child won't talk and there are no bruises or supporting evidence, the worker could not substantiate abuse. That worker probably did not have the history from NJ. When families move state to state the information doesn't usually follow them. When the family moved from NJ, they probably did not exactly leave a forwarding address for CPS to find them. The worker has to make a reasonable effort to locate the family and puts out state-wide alert. Sometimes they can get lucky if a family member will tell where the family moved or they have someone at the forme -
Very sad. If there was closer monitoring of her internet use and the things she's exposed to she wouldn't have been in this situation. It is absolutely unbelievable that she's still allowed to sit in front of that computer, use that language, and have her bra hanging out, with her parents right behind her. There are a lot parents who have caught their child looking at or posting inappropriate things on the internet. When something like that happens you prevent it from happening in the future. You don't just let it keep happening and get mad because other people respond negatively. Insanity

At the middle school level, the lists are normally given out at open house or even the first day of school. I would imagine this would be at the high school level as well. Not all students have the same classes so needs will vary by class and even by individual teacher. I wouldn't buy anything more than the basics (paper, pens, pencils) until open house, unless you know that they will have a specific subject or a specific need. For example: most math teachers only want pencils, some even require mechanical because we don't always have functioning pencil sharpeners or its disruptive to s

I think some people are trying to keep this pot stirred about Beverly Cochran to hurt her campaign. Based on what Pubby said, it is an INVESTIGATION against a family member not her. An investigation does not mean anything was done wrong and its not even alleged that she was the one who did it. P.S. I'm probably not even voting for her, but I think this whole thing is VERY unfair and ugly.

I've had Verizon for several years with no problems, but most of their plans lock you into a contract. I've not had problems with them, but will be going with the other company ???name escapes me, that uses their network so they have the same calling area as Verizon. I just have to wait for my contract to expire in a few months and then I'm moving over to a month to month plan that will be cheaper for me. I can't think of the name of the service, but you can buy their phones at Wal-mart. My sister uses them and has been very happy. Edited to add: Found it. Straight Talk is the service

I could do it if I had land around and it was in a beautiful location. I would need to add a sunroom or screened porch for just a little more space.
