As long as your priorities are straight.

As long as you can isolate your addiction to College football, then you're going to be OK. I'm not sure that the Sunbelt Conference is even real College football either, so technically speaking, you are addicted to tailgating.

The article in the Oregonian clearly states that: "The CDC says there is no reason to think this year's swine flu vaccine causes Guillain-Barre" The OP would lead you to believe something different entirely.

Anyone have a concrete parking pad poured lately?

About 2 years ago I paid $130/cu yd installed and broom finished for a 34 cu yd driveway. 1 cu yd. will cover about 75-80 sq ft. of driveway. That would put a 25 x 25 pad at about $1100.00 +-. I didn't put wire down, and I didn't have but about 1-1/2 hr of grading. I believe that wire was about 6 cents a sq ft. and additional grading would run $120/hr. -
I'm very sorry to hear this. I hope you know that a lot of people care. Seeing our parents age and become less self sufficient and more frail is very hard. Prayers to all.

Thank you for that reasoned report.

Bob, a handsome dude, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm. He sat down next to a blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV. The 10 pm news was coming on. The news crew was covering the story of a man on the ledge of a large building preparing to jump. The blonde looked at Bob and said, "Do you think he'll jump?" Bob said, "You know, I bet he'll jump." The blonde replied, "Well, I bet he won't." Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said, "You're on!" Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building, falling t

Squeeeeeekkkkkk!!!!! The last thing she would ask for would be permission. Frequent Flier miles maybe, but definitely not permission. You see, I have been told that redheads don't require permission as they are born with it.

Is that what you kids are calling it these days? Actually I think she would settle for me on a week long fishing trip out of cell phone range so she and the cat could get a little peace and quiet. Probably wouldn't object to the massage or the pool boy though.

Interesting that you should bring up chicken pox, and surmise that getting the virus in a low symptomatic form is the worst possible thing that could happen. It is not. The worst thing that could happen would be that your bundle of joy could contract the disease in it's full blown form as an adult when the potential for serious complications is a true concern. In fact before there was a vaccine, our "stupid" parents sent us over to play with infected little Johnny precisely for that reason. Not that they wanted us to get sick as children, but because they didn't want far worse to happen to

A very logical argument against vaccination and unfortunately medicine in general. Would we not be better off by extension to not treat Cancer and just let God or nature sort it out over the next hundred thousand or so years? After all, that is a genetic flaw that can be "cured" through natural selection. Same holds true for nearly every ailment know to man. Most are due to some flaw in our design. The flaw in this logic becomes much more obvious in this light, and that flaw is that it is a problem of degrees. We as a society do not want our children to die from diseases that we have the

As some of you folks know I've been having some health problems lately that have me around the house a lot more than either my wife or myself would like. Two weeks ago my MIL got sick and had to have abdominal surgery, and since she lives alone, moved in with us this weekend to stay a couple of weeks or so until she heals up. So here we are, me trying to take care if an invalid MIL while Mrs. LTD has to go to work, and then has to care for both of us all evening and night. Add to that my going for some more outpatient surgery this Friday, laying me up worse for a couple of weeks, and yo

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. Just like the seasonal flu vaccine, a number of doses will be available in both single dose injection form and inhaler form. neither form will contain Thimerosal Preservative. And of course Thimerosal Preservative has not been scientifically linked to SIDS or Autism, in spite of what your Playboy Bunny Expert or other disinformation sources would have you believe. There indeed can be allergic reactions to any substance introduced into the body, but as with all vaccines, the risks are far outweighed by the rewards unl
