My 10 month old dgd already weighs 24 lbs. she is growing out of her infant seat. I cannot see my dd putting her rear facing very much longer because she already pushes herself on the seat. You really have to tighten her down to keep her safe.

Tow, you can freeze it in the shuck, but you have to par boil it for 2-3 min. before you freeze it. Just pull the husks back and get as much of the silk off of it you can then put the ears in boiling water for 2-3 min. then bag and freeze. This kills any bacteria and germs, it also seals in the flavor. You can also cut it off the cob and freeze. Shuck and clean the corn, cut it off the cob then cook it ( we found that you can put it in the microwave for 4 min stir and cook another 4 min. is the easiest). Then cool it down, put in ziplock bags and freeze. My mom and I have put up 750 -800 ears

Yea, when my boys were little there loving sister gave them both dirt clods and told them that it was chocolate chip cookies. I don't remeber which one ate some of it but I do remember that one of them did and the other didn't. She got her butt grounded for that one.

A couple of weeks ago my son was coming down 278 and a motorcycle passed him and the guy was texting. A few minutes later my son saw something hit the pavement in front of him, he said it took a couple of minutes for the guy to realize that his phone had hit the pavement. It was very eye opening for my teenage son. He said he could not believe that the guy was texting on a bike.

Yea, no happy dance here either. I live very close to where the bridge is being put back and I do not even want to think about the traffic that will be cutting through when it opens. I know that it is needed because turning left out of or on to Winndale is a nightmare, but it is the traffic cutting through that is scary for me and my family.

Hey Tow, my mom and I have put up (cut off and frozen) 850 ears of silver queen corn in the last 2 weeks. I went to Kroger and bought the little round brushes, hanging around where the mops and brooms are at. The best way is to shuck all the corn then brush off the silks and then rinse with water. My mom has a friend that works for Wellstar and she called yesterday and told my mom that they had finally gotten the approval for the new hospital in Paulding. She stated that it would be the most up to date hospital with trauma unit in Ga. I hope that she is correct. She stated she had actually seen the plans.

Your mom has a right to be happy. I was a lot younger when my husband died, but I deserve to be happy for the rest of my life. My kids won't always be here for me. She lives out of state so you and your brother are not always there when she needs you. Maybe he is older or younger than she is and she is embaresed about this. Just be as supportive as you can and let her know that she deserves to be happy. Maybe send her a card and let her know that you support her with whatever her decision is about dating. I hope that it all works out for all of you.
