Abandoned newborn found in DeKalb storm drain
babyblues replied to afriendlygeek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I just don't understand how you can go to the hospital knowing that your child has been thrown away. Their are people that cannot have children that would give anything to have had this child. I hope that they rot in jail. -
I really can not answer this question, because it depends on alot of things. If I am late for work, if I have a dr. appt., if I have a meeting. I think if I had time and I was not rushing to get somewhere I do believe I would have stopped to listen. I probably would not have known who he was, but I would have known the music and appreciated it greatly. I think this actually shows how much we miss each and every day because we are always in a rush to get here or get this done. I have learned that life is short and we need to appreciate every second of every day.

Glad that you are home safe a sound. -
You may check into something natural that will slow the progression down. I know that in humans their are some things that are natural that can slow the progression. I will check with my aunt to see what it is that you can take and see if you can give it to your animals. She see a doctor in Atlanta that gives her natural medication. I will try to talk to her and get back with you.

Per wsbtv.com all Gov. flags will be at half staff today. The Governor signed an executive order earlier this week to honor all who were lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

From what I understand, they had to get him stable to transport and they would have transported him by ambulance if they had to, but with traffic at that time of the morning it would have taken them alot longer to get him their. Scottish Rite helo was able to come and get him. Prayers for the family, bus driver and other kids that witnessed this accident.

Thank you to the Sheriffs office and the Firefighters for putting this on, so that no one forgets the lives that were lost. I for one will never forget.

Do your kids go to South Paulding High School?
babyblues replied to boosmom13's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do hope that they have camera's, my boys go to PCHS and I know that they have them all over the place over there. Good luck and I hope that you can prove your point. It isn't fair for someone to get away without accepting responsibility and fixing your daughters car. I know that if it happened to one of my boys I would try everything to get it resolved. -

Have you called the school to see if they have camera's in or directed at the parking lot? It is possible that they do. If they do maybe you can get a copy to prove your point with the insurance co. Good luck, I know from experience that in. co. can be a pain in the rear. -
People with Crohn's or who have kids with Crohn's.
babyblues replied to fessy01's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at 4 years old. He has seen Dr, Stanley Cohen at Scottish Rite. Also we have seen Dr. Siripkin in the same office. Love both of them. I hope they can figure out what is going on with your son. It is the most frustrating thing to know that your child is sick and they are not doing things fast enough for us to find out what is causing the problems, so that we can get them better. -

My suggestion is keep a journal of what she eats. My son had to stay away from corn, chips, popcorn, anything with seeds in it or on it (strawberries, blackberries, okra, tomatoes, etc.) Also most fresh veggies and fruits. It is so hard to know what to eat and what to stay away from. Keeping a journal will help you and her see patterns of what may be causing a flare up. Good luck and I hope she can get this under control and possibly keep it under control. If she is having issues with weight our gastro dr. suggested making a milk shake and add a package of carnation instant breakfast into it. -

My mom and I saw this the other day, but I don't remember where at. We actually stopped and got a good look. I think she also took a picture. It was funny and cute. -

Great news, and know that we are all still praying for her and your whole family.

Thank you for posting this. I have always said thank you when ever I see any one in the service. But this is great. You don't even have to say a word. This is great.

I am copswife's mom, I know that this has been a very hard week for you and your son. But know that it will get better. When they told us her neck was broken and she would have to have surgery and a halo for several months I was as devistated as she was. But as she said she had a great attitude and come through with flying colors. The friend she is talking about had surgery 7 or 8 years ago, they have come a long way even since then. She has had no problems and she will be the first to tell you that she would not trade it for anything. She doesn't have the back pain and everything like she did

Prayers sent.
