Just wanted to say Good Luck to PCHS and Hiram JROTC Raiders, they are competing at the National Championship meet Sat. and Sun. in Malena, Ga. I hope that we can bring home the National title to Paulding County again this year. Last year PCHS won national in the mixed team and the female team. I hope that we can bring home all 3 this year. Male, female and mixed. My son is on the mixed team and they came in 2nd at state a couple of weeks ago. Good luck again to all the competitors, you work hard for this competition and I really hope it pays off for all of you.

Last year my mom had a very hard time, my parents have always made Christmas very special for the 4 kids and spouses, 11 grandkids and now 3 great grandbabies. Last year they could not afford to spend alot of money on everyone like they have always done. My dad is a paint contractor. He is still working but the jobs are coming fewer and farther between. My mom took a picture of them and had it blown up for each of us and gave the grandkids a 5 x 7. My son is a senior also. I and another parent are going up in the morning to watch and stay for the awards ceremony. I just want to say how proud I am of ALL the ROTC Raiders from Paulding County High School. You are Champions.

My son and his team mates left this morning for the JROTC State Raider meet in Winder, Ga. I would just like to say good luck to all the kids involved at PCHS and I hope you come home with the state championship trophies. These kids train hard every day. They get to school at 7:00 a.m.

I was honored to meet a team of Samaritan's purse this past week. They helped a guy in Austell to clean out his house that he could not afford to do himself. They were the friendliest people, and so willing to go the extra mile. I was working in the house next door getting it finished for the home owners to move back in. He was so appreciative of their help. It was great to meet them and to see the work they do.

Yes, he does have some family in the county. But they are not in politics.

I would go back now and ask them what they are going to do about this. If you get the wrong answer go up the chain of command. You may have to go all the way to the top, but if thats what it take so be it.

My husband suggest you unplug the cord from the back of the computer and leave it unplugged for about 30 min. He said sometimes the power supply hiccups. Then replug in and try to boot up. If this does not work it most likely is the power supply. (on mne you can switch the red switch but on the newer ones you can't). Try this and I really hope it works for you.

Sounds like it could be the power supply. On some desktops there is a button above or below where the power cord plugs into the tower. Flip it and try powering up, if it do not power up flip it the other way and try it again. If it will not power up it is most likely the power supply. The Friendly Geek can give you a price to replace. I have had to replace mine 2 diff. times, its not hard. Good luck I hope this may work for you.

With the different shifts and rotating schedules of LEO, 911 operators, and firefighters on 24 off 48, it may be better to get with the sheriff and fire chief and have something at one location. Such as one of the parks. This is a great idea to honor the ones that put their lives on the line everyday for all of us in the county.

I would suggest boiling the water for pets also. Now my question. What about washing dishes in a dishwasher? Do we need to dip them in boiling water after they go through the cycle to make sure all the bacteria is killed?
