Spinach dip: Get a package of Knorr veg. dip, the recipe is on the back. This is even better if it is made the day before. You can serve with crackers or pumperknickle bread. You can even hollow out the bread and put the dip inside it and break up the peaces around the bread bowl.

I have a 1995 explorer. I love it. It now has over 240,000 miles and still going strong. Good luck in your search.

If you have kids and are over 30, what do you think of this...
babyblues replied to ThePainfulTruth's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No, I would not put that responsibility on my children. But if I could buy it all and have life insurance to cover everything in the event of my death so that I could leave it all to my kids, you bet your butt I would do it. -

Subby you deserve to finally find a career that has your name all over it. What a great Christmas present for you and your family. After being out of work for 15 months myself I found a job and I start on the 30th of Dec. Woo woo. It will be great getting back to work and having a little money in the bank, but at least like you we have survived. It has been very hard but we made it. Good Luck in your new job, and God Bless. -
I know the person that wrote and sings this song. He sings with New Song, a Christian group out of Woodstock. Billy is a great guy and he and his son have beautiful voices. He came to our church for a revival a few months after my husband died and my son asked him to sing this song, he tried to say it wasn't Christmas time but soneone told him my sons dad had passed away a few months earlier and he asked my son to come up and sing it with him. He has a wonderful voice.

I agree Subby, the nut jobs were out today. I had to take my nephew to Atl. today and coming home tonight was a nightmare. Even after it started getting dark their were still alot of people without their lights on. Also several wrecks and stalled cars. It was crazy out their. -
Which carrier are you looking for. I have gotten phones from other members of my family and used them, but I have not bought one from a pawn shop before. I know I have seen several people on here that were looking to buy a used phone because they were not eligible for an upgrade.

Its called a ring back tone. Several people in my family have songs when you call them.

I think I would call the school and ask them to forward a message to the parents with your contact info. I don't think the school will give out their info but could probably forward your info to them. I hope that you can get in contact with them and help them out. I will also be praying for this family.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you all have a blessed day with family and friends.

Praying for you and your mom. May Gods will be done. -
Thank you for the good wishes for my son. He is such a good kid, he felt bad this morning because he had to ask me to fix him an omlet after he got home from school. He is usually a very dependent person and I know that this is knocking the wind out of his sail, but as a mom I am loving it. I will be soooo sad next year because he has been accepted into Nashville Auto Diesel College. He graduates from PCHS and will be going up to Nashville to start school on June 16. His brother that is also a senior is joining the military and he will be going to bootcamp next summer. It is so hard to even th

After he was taken care of my DH asked me if I ever got upset, I told him I could not get upset because if I did it would make him more upset. He is 18 and he was very upset and freaking out so I could not add to that. Things like this do not freak me out, I just get done what needs to be done and go on. He is doing great today and even went to school today for 1/2 of the day. He called and said his hand was killing him and so I went and picked him up. He is more upset that he can't drive because of the pain meds that the hurt arm. Gotta love our kids.

My son was practicing with his compound bow last night, when he released an arrow it splintered and went into his left hand. He was screaming and blood was going everywhere. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it up and my DH and I put him in the truck and took him to Paulding ER. They were wonderful, they took us straight back, got him calmed down gave him pain meds, took an xray, and got him taken care of in record time for an ER. We were in and out with intravenous antibiotics in under 2 hours. I would just like to thank All the wonderful people at the ER, you were all awesome.

My DD and SIL are going tommorrow night, I have volunteered to stay with the kids so that they can go. She has had her tickets for over a month and I know that the Cartersville movie theater that they are going to is show it in all 12 suites and ALL are sold out for the midnight showing. I hope everyone enjoys the movie that are getting to go. Good luck to all that do not have tickets already, I have heard that alot are already sold out.

Has he always been in daycare? I am asking because when my daughter was 3 she started throwing tantrums in the church nursery, biting, kicking, screaming, hitting. We could not figure out what was going on. She did not do these things at home. One Sunday morning my MIL went and stood outside the nursery window and just watched her. The nursery directors child kept going up to my daughter and taking her glasses off and go hide them. My daughter could not see without them. My daughter would go into one of her fits and the director would punish her but not her own child. My MIL took care of the s

Hiram placed in a couple of the individual events but I don't know how they finished overall. They were very gracious to PCHS and saluted our teams when we got the national championship for the male team. They are always very competitive with us, but they also respect our teams. It really makes me proud to live in Paulding county to know that rivals can still respect each other. They also work very hard and have a very good team spirit. Thank you Hiram and PCHS for all your hard work.

I am with you, they ALL did an awesome job. The top teams from Al, NC, SC, Tenn, Fl, and Ga were at this competition. Our female team came together and carried one of the girls over 1/2 mile in the team run when she got hurt. Then on the cross country 2 of our girls got hurt and were taken to the emergency room. They are both ok and will recover. I am so very proud of all the kids on our teams, this is a very intense competition.

I don't know if they won yet or not, I went down for the competition yesterday but the awards ceremony was not until Sun morning. My son forget his phone was in his pocket when they did the rope bridge and it is now very water logged and not working so I am waiting for someone to call me.
-
I was at the meet yesterday, but the ceremony is not until today. PCHS did very well, but until all the scores are posted I don't know if we won or not. We had a couple of injuries, but luckily it was on the last event and they are doing ok. One of our girls partially dislocated her shoulder on the 8 ft wall, another girl hurt her knee when she came down off the wall. The wall was the last obsticle of the last event. They both went to the hospital and fixed up and were returned to the camp. I will post as soon as I hear from my son as to how they did.

Trust me you are right where you are suppose to be. You may not have all the answers but they will never forget your being there. In 2001 my husband died, our kids were 10, 11, and 15. I was in a fog but to this day I remember the people that were their for me and my kids. Also, if any of the kids ask to be alone with their dad please, please give the opportunity if at all possible. My MIL kept putting my 15 yo daughter off and would not let her talk alone with her dad. Sometimes their are things that they need to tell him that other do not need to be apart of. May God Bless this family and ho
