I like the wine and the sugar idea. I don't like a strong, tomato-ey, acidic taste. I sometimes use tomato soup and it cuts down the strong acid taste.

I know it isn't cold; but I am craving chili. Anyone out there have a "winning" recipe or a secret weapon ingredient. Mine is "ok"; but like to try new recipes for old favorites. Looking at the grocery shelves, the beans looked low and I am guessing I'm not the only one thinking about chili (or chile); depending on where you are from.

When I moved, I bought the $3 plastic tubs with lids at Walmart. For $30 you can get 10 nice-sized tubs; write on them with marker; and they stack perfectly. When you break them down they fit inside each other. I saved mine and passed them along to a friend who was moving. Neither of us would ever do it again without using the same idea.

My credit card thru my company was compromised about 2 years ago. Someone tried to buy computer games. I knew exactly where I last used that card because I don't use it often. I called the restaurant and they just sort of shrugged their shoulders and blew it off. Of course my company caught it right away; they sort of knew I wouldn't buy computer games for business!! Dishonesty or stealing - Two of the biggest forms of disrespect!!

My little "singers" will greatly miss coming there but I figured it was money issues with maintaining a huge inventory of food. I wish you great success!

Hmm. That potato soup sounds right tasty; and the meatloaf, too; but probably some type of chicken in the oven for me. Tired tonight and not feeling like too long in the kitchen.

Got caught in the trap when I bought my home. The estimated taxes when buying the house was half of what I actually had to pay. That is because I bought the house from an elderly couple. Big shock when my taxes were doubled from what I expected!!

Why is everyone talking in circles? I never heard of a restaurant that served only 21+. You mean we cannot take a family there? Why? Is it going to be a strip joint? I must be really stupid. I don't get what everyone is trying to say. If the septic tank is full, you get it serviced - what does that have to do with serving families?

I don't think I will EVER get used to the amount of people who just "shoot" other people on a night out on the town. Every time I hear about a shooting, I'm thinking - who ARE these people who carry guns around and shoot people who pi$$ them off! And teenagers who shoot each other?? Or; the "oh-I was-just - sitting around playing cards and the baby picked up the gun" scene. I cannot identify with that!

Boy, once they figure out what's wrong - they get you taken care of. He goes to a hospital in a small town in PA. and I think it is ranked as one of the top 10 or 25 hospitals. I was amazed when I went there for a week when his accident first took place. But anyway - a giant thank you!!

I have heard some pretty unfavorable comments about the outside dish thingie. That is the only way I can get AT & T where I live. For example; during the rains last week - was service interrupted? I am looking to move from Comcast; but it seems satellite tv might be my only other option.

I did not get the impression he was trying to be funny; because of his "deadpan" carriage of humor; I think the audience thought he was trying to be funny. The news said his family did not know about the announcement until just before he made it (including his wife). I will bet there are quite a few people reading this post who have had sex with co-workers; married or single.

So SORRY to hear about your problems. My grandkids came to spend the night and immediately said "can we go to MacFarlnes?". But tonight didn't work for me so now I don't feel so guilty. I so hope your problems get resolved.

Actually, we were told, back in the day, that rectally was accurate and mouth was accurate. If taking the temp under the arm; add a degree. We never messed with anything above 102. We started a warm bath and gradually added cooler water to bring it down. If you ever went to the hospital; they are not so gentle. It is ice and cold; abruptly. Cool cloths on pressure points (back of neck, wrists) might also help. Good luck; I hate when the little ones are sick - it makes me so sad.
