Not one to usually call out drivers, but wow
Ugadawgs98 replied to Baileybleu's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Should have called 911 with the tag....could have been verified by the dump truck driver. People like that need to go to jail and lose their license. -
cuts and furloughs to the men in blue may cut local revenue

Most jurisdictions do not have 'fix-it-tickets" like some states. It is not even an option on the GA Uniform Traffic Citation. You either cite or warn. -

Bottom line....the criminal justice system costs the tax payers much more than will ever be generated in fines. The less fines taken in the more that must be budgeted from the general fund. Furloughs on patrol officers combined with low moral can/will cause less enforcement actions where fines are obtained. To think the average patrol officer writes 20 tickets, or even 5 a day, is a common minconception that is way off base. -
Because we are better than our barbaric enemy. Hell...had we captured Hitler who killed millions I am sure we would have did the same thing.

It is the childish nature our politics has turned to. It is more like a 3rd grade playground than adults discussing the issues of this nation. While most spend their days arguing partisan politics, the few true freedom loving independents just sit back and watch both parties drive our nation into the ground.

I just fill mine up with cat litter and leave the lid off for a few days. It usually dries it up nicely.

If you refuse the requested state test after arrest it can be suspended for 12 months. There is normally an ALS hearing where the officer has to show a judge that sufficient evidence existed for the arrest which gave justification for the test request.
-
You really should not put your ignorance of the law on display for all to see. GA law requires there be probable cause to support an arrest and the formal arrest be made before the legal test of breath or blood can even be requested under the GA Implied Consent law. So, when you are asked to take the test so that you have the opportunity to refuse there is already sufficient evidence to support the arrest. The "he refused the test and that is why he was arrested" is complete BS. On that same note, if you really want to prove you were not intoxicated there is no better evidence than a

Lindsey lake on Lindsey Lake Rd. It is across the street from the intersection of Pine Shadows. It is only like a $1 or $2 per person paid in the drop box at the house on the corner. Last time I went I caught plenty of Bream.

Correct....the other officer responded to an assistance call.

This is a touch on the shoulder This is a grab to the collar. The shoulder patch is on his shoulder for reference. She clearly reaches as far as she can across the table and grabs by his neck.
-
He had a hand on his arm letting the other officer know where he was at....there was no pulling motion. He appeared to be trying to find a position to help but the tables blocked him. Even if he was trying to pull him off it is not "telling", I have arrived in the middle of a fight and pulled another officer off. Not to stop the officer, but to use a higher level of force because I was able to deploy it. If someone is reaching and grabbing my collar while I am focused on trying to arrest someone I will react immediately with force to get you away. I will not wait to find out if your ar

It appeared to me officer 1 was in the gap between the two tables trying to take control on the first female . Officer 2 arrives and focused his attention on the first female but is unable to help because the tables are blocking him so he is left standing behind officer 1. I am not sure he even realized female 2 grabbed the collar of officer 1 until he reacted. My guess is tunnel vision, Officer 2 was keyed on the first female because he arrived in the middle of the altercation and probably had no idea why they were fighting. The story I read was an entire group was disorderly, ignore

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. She chose to physically grab the officer and he returned the favor. I will immediatley respond to someone grabbing me on duty because I have a belt full of weapons I have to protect. Rule number 2 in officer safety, keep them over an arms length away. What should have been a life lesson for her is being spun so that she is some sort of victim in a situation she created.

Parking in a lined area is not necessarily against state law. Parking in a fire lane, handicap spot or any area adjacent to a handicap spot is. Douglasville PD is probably enforcing the other 'no parking' areas under a local city ordinance but not everywhere has one. The second problem is the driver has to be located to be personally served with the citation if it is going to the state court system. GA does not have a uniform parking ticket that can be left on the windshield. If the city has dedicated parking enforcement like the larger cities they issue a local parking ticket that can

It has to be losing pressure if it collapses which means there has to be a leak of some kind since it should be a sealed system.

Does anyone actually KNOW the law for this county

There is no county ordinance against firing a gun on your own property. The revelant laws were posted above. -
I can hear the neighbor now, "I think we are close.....just give me a few more sessions".

FBI is investigated paulding For public corruption

Just because charges were dropped or not prosecuted does not mean the arrest was not valid or without cause. It happens every day for a variety of reasons. -

The only laws deal with discharging within 50 yards of a roadway, on anothers property, or while intoxicated. There is no other law unless they are shooting in an unsafe direction or manner which would amount to reckless conduct. -

Unfortunatly it is going to be very expensive any way you go. The overhead for the air EMS is huge.
