  1. I think it's completely blown out of proportion, the kid wasn't doing it by himself, obviously there were people around telling him what to do and say. I like to imagine that the kid was beaming with pride AND responsibility at doing something that important. I can understand the point of view that the guy shouldn't have done it but at the same time people need to realize that the kid was not in any danger nor did any adults present allow the kid to put anyone else in any danger. I think it was a great learning experience for the boy and probably something that up until now he would have looke
  2. Mine is "If I Only Had A Brain" from The Wizard of Oz
  3. Was the guy huge as in weighed a lot, or was very tall or...? If he was around the side of the building he obviously was trying to conceal himself from main public view, and stopping mid-stream is not always an option. Personally I've done it, do it and would do it again. If you were a polite woman, when you look at me you'll look at my eyes and not my crotch. And just so you know, this whole post has been made in jest...except the part about stopping mid-stream...
  4. I don't look at it so much as "Johnny Law being a perfect angel" so much as he is innocent until proven guilty, and I've yet to see proof he did anything to her. And as other people pointed out a fall could cause the injuries, and there was a picture to prove that. If she had been sitting down and lost her balance when she got up, she would have fallen into the room not out of.
  5. Ahh, I was not aware of that. But still seems like it would be better, and especially in this case, to as UnionMom said "let it roll".
  6. Although I don't believe the cop to be in the wrong on this, I would like to know why he stopped the recording? That is the only questionable thing I can see, and unfortunately it's enough to cause not only doubt but suspicion.
  7. LOL, I was actually just thinking about that, using DNA is essentially forcing you to testify against yourself, but then so would finger printing...
  8. "How long is that cat going to play in the litter box THIS morning?"
  9. I particularly enjoyed the "because I said so", just a cop on an ego trip and I hope he does lose his job.
  10. I'm sure, on one hand I don't think anyone should be forced to give a DNA sample for anything, but then I think that at some point finger printing must have been questioned and in the future DNA ID will probably be just as nontrivial as finger printing is today...but for now I'm more of a no.
  11. Now that would be something to see....set up a night vision camera, post it on the net and I bet it goes viral.
  12. I'm very sorry you had that happen, and that anyone had it happen, and I really don't want to sound unsympathetic with this but...although I've never done it, I think about doing it to those people who park in the road to get their mail and I have to stop and wait for oncoming traffic to pass them so I can pass them.
  13. I'm curious as to what you guys use to block the flash...
  14. Well you did do the right thing, and the person who told you he was gonna get in trouble should not have discussed that with you. Sorry you feel quilty.
  15. While I didn't go so far as to cry, that is an extremely awesome video, made me smile...
  16. Huh? What? Did someone say something...
  17. I believe I fixed the issue with the banners over the PM notification....
