Never said there was an excuse. Yes I read the story and it was horrific but they were 10, they were sentenced, served their time and were released. It makes absolutely no sense, to say what should have happened because, it's long since been handled, and it's not even in this country. Ok, I'm bored so I'm going to make a post. It's part vent, part question, and part confession. We all have those little things that for some reason just absolutely drive you insane. I'm talking totally irrational, doesn't affect you at all but for some strange reason you lose all focus on anything except that one thing. It irritates me to no end to see people PULLING their shopping carts. I can't stand it and I want to start hitting people. It's a cart for pushing, not a wagon for pulling. It's easier to push than it is to pull, that is why they have shopping carts and not shopping wagons. WHY

What I find most interesting about this thread so far is the hypocrisy of the posters. When the bank teller guy was "suspected" of having child porn or whatever on his computer, everyone jumped on the torch wagon ready to personally see his bottom to Hades, but now that it's a cop everyone is jumping up to defend him. There is a BIG difference between people minding their own business and people ignoring someone who needs help. In the case of the thread yesterday, the defense was "The baby could get hurt" and a sink hole could swallow the High School tomorrow, should you evacuate the building today for a what if? A child could fall off a swing and break it's arm, should we go running to police because of what could happen, NO, mind your own business. If you truly believe it's your business do something about it other than alerting the authorities...get the wife to leave the husband and offer her a place to stay...feed the kids or take them into your own home and offer them protection. Or even in the case of the reason for this thread, get out of your vehicle, open the mothers car door and remove the child, if it's your business you'd have every right to do that now wouldn't you, your minding your own business looking out for the best interest of the child. The 911 system was bogged down and the mother got a busy signal...the hospital was only minutes away and she was by herself...

What if it's jugular had been punctured and the only thing keeping it from dieing was the mother holding her finger over the wound to keep it from bleeding...someone should start a spin off thread speculating the cause of the puncture wound...
