LOL...but it sure is fun watching them type...that's just stupid for everything they disagree with
  3. The poster never suggested that it did.
  4. LOL, I did that once in the sixth or seventh grade. It was just a reading class, the book had some short stories and excerpts from books, one of which was "Watership Down" (wonderful book) which I had read. The story in the text book however started towards the end. The book is about rabbits who leave a doomed warren to start another but on the way they stop at another warren and a rabbit from that warren joins them. So the test or quiz question asked how many rabbits left the original warren? I didn't include the one who joined the group in my answer because he didn't leave the original warre
  5. True that...and if I remember correctly...which I'm not sure I do...The Emancipation Proclamation only specifically freed the southern slaves and slaves in territories that fought against the Union. And one of the only reasons he did that was in hopes that the slaves would rise and fight the southerners as well. And I had heard but have not been able to research it as fact so this is purely RUMOR and I would like to stress that...Lincoln although he didn't like slavery, didn't want the black people here and supported shipping them back to Africa...again, that is only something I've heard.
  6. It was already pointed out that not all of history can be taught so they must teach the relevant and leave the rest up to the individual or their parents. Tribal warfare of the Native Americans in not very important for kids to know so why should they teach it. HOWEVER, if they need to teach about the Christian foundation of this country, they need to teach the truth of it. I'm not sure what the "evil white man narrative" you speak of is, I'm assuming you trying to make is seem like eradication of the Native Americans is somehow an imaginary tale and the establishment of these United States wa
  7. Oh...I didn't know that...well clearly then the Christians had every right to exterminate the beasts and purge the land. The point I was making was in reference to someone saying they should teach the truth about the christian foundation of this country. Which WAS an act of Christian terrorism. I'm really not sure what inter-tribal warfare going on before the Christians murdered the indians has to do with the foundation of this country or why we should teach it in schools.
  8. Umm...well yeah. But that wasn't because they were trying to force a religion down each others throats. There would have been territory disputes most certainly but not to the point that the Christians wiped out an entire continent of people. And I say wiped out knowing that yes there are still some Native Americans but realizing that eventually there will be none.
  9. There is a song by Enigma called "Silent Warrior". I'm not sure if it is on You-tube, but it is about the christian invasion. It's ambient music so not for everyone but I love it and it is quite powerfull. ...now I have to find center again.
  10. sorry, lol, that just really struck a nerve
  11. OMG. Do you mean how the Christians terrorized and murdered the Native Americans in the name of God? Much the same way that the Muslims terrorized and murdered Americans in the name of Allah?

No the individual would be required to do the testing. Burden of proof is on the accuser. The government applies the tax and everyone pays, people who are medically overweight accuse the government of unfair taxing and THEY must prove that THEY are not responsible for THEIR obesity.
  15. From the examples you gave, they are not re-writing history, just omitting certain events from the teaching. Kinda like when they stopped teaching all that much about James Polk. Not that it isn't important just that they have certain things. History is made every day and we can't continue to teach all of it, there simply isn't enough time. Something has to go and eventually people are going to get upset about what gets cut. I really can't see how they can not teach about Washington and Lincoln though, it would be nearly impossible, there has to be some mention of them. But of course I don't t

They keep raising the cig tax because people keep quitting and they don't get as much money, so they have to raise it to compensate for the revenue loss. Of course they don't want people to quit, they are a sources of income, but they are milking a dying cow...

How? To be exempt from the fat tax, the individual should have to prove it is a medical condition.
  18. Lucky your fine, you got the link...that was for the others who couldn't see it...
  19. I think the proper thing to do would be to go over and have a rational conversation with your neighbor before you start looking to bring law and what not into the whole thing. Ask them to please not park where it could run off into your garden.
  20. How do you know he's aggravated? He could be quite content...
  21. We'd probably never leave the parking lot!
  22. Maybe they are looking at it from the angle that he may have purchased it for protection and they are wondering protection from what? "WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN" "WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN"
