  1. I KNOW!!! That whole strip across from Subway is now totally empty. I hate that.
  2. You are a strange and weird individual. Which means I like you.
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA Oh, classic!!!
  4. Totally boring, and that seems an odd place, but whatever. We used to get our tires at Walmart, too, until my father caught them (not a local store) not performing service he had paid them to do (he marked the tires). Since then, we go elsewhere.
  5. Dude. That is seriously cool. I personally would love to read BG's poetry...been through some hard times myself.
  6. I'm a big fan of this. For adults, that is. For the kidlets, I really like WFAL's plan of three gifts (three were good enough for the baby Jesus, so three oughtta be good enough for kids today), with one of the three being something they must do together.
  7. I totally agree. And there's more than one way to get a job done...I say have locals/Patriot Guard/whoever get between them and the Edwardses (esp. the children) and just block their way. There's way more people who are not Westboro than who are. I heard recently of some folks doing this for a soldier's family...they heard Westboro was showing up, so the people of the area just blocked all access to the parking lots, etc. I should guess the Edwardses could also afford private security.
  8. NO WAY. Sorry - I already don't like 'em, and this just adds to it. No way am I letting somebody store my data online. Online backup is one thing...Google is another.
  9. and seven of the clean animals. This could get to be pretty big.
  10. I think it's more of a strip center with multiple stores. At least that's the idea I got when I stopped by the building permit one day and read the sign.
  11. Don't worry...I can't go out in public. I look pretty stupid sitting here with a piece of tissue stuck up each nostril. (And no, I am not kidding. My head has been POURING snot.) :lookingatmonitorwithsickeyes:
  12. Holy crap! Y'all are starvin' me to death! I love regular cube steak (the country-fried way), but now I wanna try those other ideas. :droolingontomydesk:
  13. Crap, man...I haven't even thought about what to have for dinner and y'all are making me hungry! Also, I have a confession to make. I am pretty much lowbrow when it comes to food.* I know I should like things like mussels, but I just don't. I know I should like my meats rare, but I just don't. I know I should like beer, wine, and champagne, but I just don't. (I do, however, like hard likkers, such as a really fine brandy on a cold winter night, or the right mixture of a martini.)** I prefer a nicely-done (not dry) good cut of steak, non-filter-feeder seafood, and good ol' iced tea an
  14. ABSOLUTELY!!! Those people are pure evil.
  15. I have a monster of a code in my node. I just hope it stays dere and doesn't migrate to my chest.
  16. That is way cool! I read his resume...I perceive he's a semi-sharp dude.
  17. No, you're not. Trust me. Well, crap, TC - I didn't know I was supposed to pile on with a PM. I wish I knew what I was supposed to pile on about and which way I was supposed to feel about it. Oh, well...maybe next time. (Or not.)
  18. OP's gonna love that...they wouldn't do a THING for her, even when she told them she was leaving for DirecTV.
  19. I'm serious!!! I had to stop reading; it was giving me a headache!!! What did your brother say? (Is he really Asst. Dir.?)
  20. Oh, this is classic! I knew I liked you! She'll have to laugh. PS - how is she doing with Mr. Big Baby? And how is Mr. Big Baby himself doing?
  21. I remember this, and I was appalled. My heart was so hurt for that family (dead and alive). (I'm guessing whoever did it was back in Africa 12 hours later. But that's just me.) Perhaps part of this discussion is semantics...I don't think LEOs want us NOT to call if we see something suspicious (and good for you, November Rain...that was great!). It is, after all, their job to serve and protect. But most of us are legitimate, honest, hard-working folks who wouldn't dream of gaming the system and calling if we didn't really think we needed to. I'm guessing the LEOs see far more of that
