I'm always fascinated by stuff like this. Stuff like this is why I like Criminal Minds, etc. I can't read some of the books, though, like Cornwell, Rule, et al - too much darkness and gruesomeness gets to me.

Awesome. BTW - I read last week that 222 companies have now been given waivers to not have it applied to them. Just on that alone seems unconstitutional. Seriously, honey - that is so not true (that she was bad)...I'm just now signing on, so this was the first I had seen of it. A couple of observations: a) I have sung in just about every arena/situation imaginable, and being nervous never goes away for me (or for most other singers I know)...you just learn to deal with it, and you learn to not let it affect your performance. If she was more than a little nervous, I didn't see it. I will also say that singing in front of my family/close friends is far more nerve-wracking than singing in front of scads of people I don't know. 2) Tha

Oh, honey, that's 'cause you're what we call a "Florida yankee". Florida, north of Orlando, is part of the Deep South. Florida, Orlando and south, is a yankee state. Southerners have always depended on guns for food; esp. in rural areas. But I still love you, though. Some of my best friends are Florida yankees.

Yes, I would agree with that, based on my experience (no official stats to back that up). And, yes, ZC, I wasn't disagreeing with the article...I don't get how it makes sense for states not to pay for home care when it is just SOOOO much less expensive in every way. But perhaps that will change...I just know in the field that the guidelines (from the feds, and then probably on down to the states at some point) are pushing more and more for home care and less for skilled nursing. rays - My heart goes out to you and your family.
