Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only sluggard here. I'd say this weather has really brought out the lazy in me, but the lazy is pretty much always at the forefront, so that wouldn't be quite honest. In fact, just reading about all this cleaning and organizing activity is making me tired. And, inasmuch as it's 3:35, I think I'll take a nap.

Have you asked kidlet what he thinks about it? I'm not a fan of letting kids decide what happens in a family, but at that age, if you let him have some input, it would be a good way to see what he's thinking and also help in making your decision. I like the idea of having dad stay at your house while you're away. Let us know what you decide.

Prayers for the DOT worker, and they did do a fine job. Bartow did as well. We were in Cartersville and Acworth today...Bartow and Paulding did much better than Cobb, and I hear Cherokee did a great job as well.

Yeah, he's bat-doo-doo crazy. And even if his parents realized and did try to get help, unless he was institutionalized when he turned 18, there's not much they could have done afterward. The gun dealer, OTOH, is a different matter. My guess is their policy is to sell to whomever passes a background check, so they did.

All of Jane Austen's works are there free, although I must warn you, they are dry reading if you're not used to them. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes), Edgar Allen Poe, Robert Louis Stevenson...just start poking around on amazon.com in the Kindle store in the free section and you'll run across something you like.
