I'm going to say Henderson's. Ricky Clark @ Henderson's beat Dallas Collision's estimate by $175 without even seeing the other estimate. Truck looked wonderful afterwards. Great, timely, affordable service.

Huge decrease in value last year. Stayed the same this year. -
I have no sugestions , however, I do feel your pain!! Our oldest 3 are each 2 years apart & there were days when they were younger . . wait. . there's still days when I think I'll lose my mind from the sibling nonsense!!

Firehouse was in attendance!! Broken arm boy & his friend were able to come up on stage- that was the highlight for him!! We had a good time & were also surprised by the size of the "crowd". We're really looking forward to the puppet show next!! I'm not letting any of my free tix go to waste!! I had never been to Dallas Theater and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is inside- the AC was kicking cool as well!! Thanks for the contest~ my friends were so jealous to hear I got the free tixs!!

Buyers, sellers of food stamps use Facebook to connect
knau7708 replied to onekidmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The EBT cards I've seen in GA have the client name on them- they look just like regular debit cards. Most often these exchanges take place where one is trading the card value for drugs or cash in hand. If the state is "giving" me $500/mo in a food stamp benefit and I sell that card for $250, I made $250 in cash but lost out in food benefit. If I'm a druggie I probably don't care about the lost food- I'm getting $250 in crack!! Sad. I don't have the answer but the system is definitely broken! -
Whoever helped me at Walmart last night...thank you

That's a scary feeling! I know the frantic mom feeling- and there's nothing worse than your kid "disappearing". They are so good at evasive maneuvers! So glad it turned out okay for you, there are still "good" people who will stop and help during times like this! I bet you wanted to hug on him and scold him at the same time. And to pass along what my husband started for us- the very first time it seemed silly to me. . . . no matter where we are- he takes a picture of the 4 year old with his cell phone. In case he gets lost, Dad has a picture of what he looks like this instant! I do it at -
I won the tickets from Dallas Theater's "Summer Plans" post Got them in the mail yesterday- we're going to the Off the Cobb Children's Comedy Show tonight. Have never been to the theater- I'm thinking I may be more excited than the kids right now!! Fun show, AC & free tickets for my family. . .

If you're my neighbor, put some clothes on your girls!

I don't know about being "overplayed". I'm really glad this topic has generated this much discussion! Maybe, just maybe one parent will take a closer look what their children are wearing or even take this as an opportuity to talk to their kids. My husband and I used this situation as well as many others we've dealt with to talk with our kids about respecting themselves & others. As we have yet to meet the mom at this new house but have met dad- Hubby even helped unload their truck- I think hubby is going to have a "dad talk" with him and hopefully as a parent with a daughter himself b -

This certainly isn't going to make or break our summer by no means. Pcom is boring today and I've got half naked girls running around in the culdesac. As far as the drug dealers- I'm open to good advice on that one- read some threads on here that make it seem like an act of Congress to get something done. . . Until then, I've got to vent about the half naked teens running around in itty bitty swimsuits with no pool in sight...... -

I know. I know. I know. I was a teen once too. Now, I'm a dowdy paranoid overprotective mom........ My 12 year old daughter still wears a one piece. From a kid's perspective- I get it. I do. It's just not the teenage boys seeing it though. . . and what's next? It's gonna be a long summer here!! -

Because they should have clothes on if there's no water present!! Seriosuly. The bathing suits are super super skimpy, like really barely there. And the girls are bouncing all over the place! And they're acting like its "spring Break" in Panama City! The oldest girl is 16. Lawd.... please put some clothes on!!! Poor guy across the street was trying to mow his yard - I know he didn't want to look........ -
Okay, so I've got new neighbors. . they have 8 kids! Their 4 oldest very well developed girls ages 12-16 have been parading around the front yard in string bikinis. Tossing a football, chasing each other, etc. There is no water or hose in sight- no lying out to get a tan, no pool in the neighborhood. . . . I have 2 teenage boys. They go out to play basketball in the cul de sac and can't help but to stare at all the goods present!!! I've seen how mom dresses- I honestly don't think speaking to her would be a good approach. So, if you know my neighbor with 8 kids that lets her daugh

As a current stay at home mom (laid off in August 2010) it will be the first time in 10 years that I've been able to spend any real time with our four kids during the summer. I am excited about that! But... the 4 yr old broke his arm last week. Long arm cast for the next 4 weeks, that changed our plans. Still looking for some reasonably priced ideas for what we can do- Free tickets would be awesome

If you have a teen with a learner's permit you MUST add them to your policy as a driver if they will be driving your car. There is not any additional cost to add them as a driver as you the parent are the respnsible party while they are operating the vehicle. Should they have an accident it is imperative that they are listed on your policy as drivers.
-
Insurance only for licensed drivers. Once she gets her learners, call your insurance co & have her added as a driver. No extra cost. A whole nother story once they can drive by themselves!

Is there a Sips N Strokes type place near/ in Paulding? I think it would be fun fun for a girls night!

Its my understanding an umbrella was involved. That can cause severe internal puncture damage (beyond the ear). I do believe life flight would be called if the child was bleeding significantly from the ear.

Its a scramble. All of the community wide ones I've seen advertised this year are. Some churches do "hunts" for their congregations but I doubt you'll see a hunt open to the public. Some kids (and adults too) are absolutely nutso charging after these eggs. After waiting patiently for over an hour on a field with 100+ other kids last year to leave with less than 10 eggs and a true fear for our safety we're opting out of the craziness this year! (this was at the Hiram ball fields- NOT the White Oak event) I'll do my own hunt in the backyard. The kids love to hide/find the eggs over a
