I'm confused. The list appears to be payments from drug companies to Dr's for providing services, NOT for writing their scripts. Are these Dr's appearing at conventions and the like? If they are being reimbursed for sharing their knowledge on certain topics then I have no problem with it.

Received my son's test results for the diagnostic exam given to prepare for the state Graduation Test next month. No explanation was given as to how to read or understand the test scores. Math 30, English 37, SS 30 Science 17. I'm confused. He's an A/B kid- did he totally bomb the test? Anyone know the ranges for each section of this test? Yes, I can call the school but that's too long to wait when I'm completely confused. Any help Pcom?

I'm in need of a recommedation for a leasing agent in the Columbus, GA area. I know agents have contacts EVERYWHERE, I don't want to close my eyes and choose off Google since I will be coordinating everything from here (won't actually see the property I'm getting them) There's a construction project in that area and I need a place for the crews to stay. It would be really great if they would update the district website too, it still shows delayed start! Not everyone knows about Pcom, not everyone gets the calls. Last year I received the calls, this year my hubby has gotten them and I haven't heard a word (need to check on that!). There should be a consistent way of notifying the parents/ staff. Lots of confused parents and kids, website says this, I got this call, 2nd cousin says she heard from, well you know how it goes. In the past 30 minutes I've gotten a ton of calls asking- "what have you heard?"

Clark Ambulance is STILL the county EMS. When all 5 trucks are accounted for (calls, transfers, etc.) and another emergency is called in, mutual aid is necessary. Puckett & Floyd have been running mutual aid calls over the past several weeks. ONLY when all Clark units are previously committed- NOT in lieu of....

When my daughter was dropped off after a denstist appt. the sub bus was just arriving to drop the remaining students off at school. This evening she told me a boy on the bus is in the hospital with a broken back. 7th grade gossip but that's all I've got.

AND the Dt. drinks too! I used to smoke, have been quit for four years now! Who pays for the health care costs associated with smoking related illnesses- like for the ones who could afford to smoke for 35+ years but can't afford health insurance? The govt. has a very small stake in it. I do believe that the new packaging will deter young kids but not the adults who have been addicted fr years. That pack won't look so "cool" anymore.

We're bidding on the retaining walls. We ran into a bunch of asthetic issues with Cherokee Co- everytyhing had to appear "brick face". They decided on this while the project was under construction- thousands of dollars had to be spent after the fact for staining. I followed the link to the sex offender registry that was posted here just before Halloween. Imagine my absolute astonishment when I saw the husband of a daycare asst. director I know listed there. The charge was child molestation, happened 12 years ago. Question is, he comes to the daycare all the time to pick up his daughter, see his wife, attend events, etc. I know there are rules about where a convicted sex offender can live & work, but is it ok for him to be at the daycare center, in and out with his history?
