If there are any wooded areas around your home (and even if there aren't) you should not assume there are no coyotes (or for that matter bobcats, foxes, or any other wildlife indigenous to this area) around. I regularly see what appears to be coyote scat in my front yard... I saw a red fox last week that had been hit by a car. First one of those I've seen in awhile. Also saw something a couple weeks ago that had been hit that I would almost swear looked like the rear end/paws of a mountain lion - never got a very good look at it though before it was gone. Some of us were VERY vocal in our objections to the Patriot Act and Bush's warrantless surviellance activities when it all came about. What we need is to stop returning these career politicians to office - since they won't impose limits upon themselves, we need to do it for them. Where did it say he broke any rule, or even that his 'performance' was not planned or expected? The other girl chose to disobey a rule of which she was made aware in advance of the graduation ceremony. Not similar circumstances therefore not comparable... Nobody seems to like it much when someone is stealing their stuff, or cutting them off in traffic, etc...which is what happens when people think the rules/law don't apply to them.

So is this proposed site/boondoggle at the end of the road nearest Macland & 120? Maybe they were inspired by the 'uplifting' effect the junkyard has on the area...? Terrible idea and totally inappropriate for the area. Worse than school traffic going past an industrial site is the thought of traffic from an industrial site traveling through the school zone...

I was thinking 'someone has lived about a century too long' when I read that, myself. I am a native of this county, have lived here my entire life & worked here for more than half of it. Not ashamed of my heritage...I'm as southern as anyone I know. Must not live near or ever go around water, then. When I was about 12 my dad lived in some apts off Pat Mell Rd in Marietta that had an indoor pool. He & my sister were at the opposite end of the pool when he asked me what was in the water next to me & it was most definitely a cottonmouth mocassin. Not sure who crossed the length of that pool faster...me or him.

Seriously, does anyone believe the wealthy will suddenly decide to pay whatever they're asked when instead they can buy as many loopholes and exemptions as they want? I'm sure the current tax system was considered fair & reasonable when implemented, too. How do you all think it became such a mess? I've come to realize that logic and reason cannot exist in the presence of politics.
