There are so many people that tailgate and drive around in the oblivious mode, its no surprise that that this type of accident happens frequently. I feel like just slamming on the brakes sometimes. I might get a new car out of the deal, but with my luck they might not have insurance. I'm glad you guys were okay Pinkbling.

Thanks for tracking down the rest of the story. -
Here is a link to a post that I posted on pcom last year. http://paulding.com/..._1#entry2946186 I started taking 4000IU a day at that time and did not catch a cold in the winter for the first time in my life. I'm sticking with my plan.

I've got a Question about Employment Laws
afriendlygeek replied to tuscanytrailer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Unless you are under some type of work agreement with them, I'm pretty sure the practice is perfectly legal. -
Went several years back and loved it!

Sounds like it might be an Adobe Flash problem. Go here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and click on the "Download Now" button.

Remember All Those Doctors Who Threatened?

Actually, my belief is that everyone pays the 2.9%, since the employer is forced to pay 1.45%, they do not have that 1.45 to pay in salary. I'm not necessarily against medicare for folks that desire it. I just think it should be optional. For me, I'll either pay my own way or die if given the option. To date, medicare has cost me $31,737 between what I have paid and previous employers have paid for me. I would much rather have that money earning interest or dividends for me instead paying it to the Government. Besides, If I get hit by a train and die tomorrow or develop cancer and die, I'll d -

Dang - I'm guilty of that and I suspect that alot of you are as well. Ever put a penny in a machine that smashes it and imprints it with some type of picture? I'm guilty. -

Uh... 2.9% is almost 3 cents per dollar. If you do not believe that's significant, would you be willing to send me 2.9% of every dollar that you make for some service that you do not want? -

Anyone that has income from a job pays 2.9% of every dollar earned into Medicare (employer pays 1.45 and employee 1.45 - self employed pays 2.9). Not sure how this translates into socialism. It sounds like forced insurance to me. I would gladly opt out if I could, but there is no provision by the government to do that. If I do it on my own, I'll end up in jail for tax evasion. -
Two comments related to these posts: 1. You can have a book on the Kindle, an ap for a PC, and a smart phone and have the same book on all three at no extra cost. The part that I really like about this is that they all are kept in sync. If you stop reading on page 44 on one of them and decide to start reading on a different one, it will automatically take you to page 44 as long as you have an internet connection to receive the sync data. 2. One advantage that the actual Kindle has over using a smart phone or a PC, is that E-ink can be read in sunlight whereas a PC or smart phone will w

One of my Doctors and I had a discussion about this a few months back. The bottom line for him was that he was struggling with eliminating his existing Medicare patients because he was afraid they would have hard time finding another Doc in his particular specialty. From a financial standpoint he said it would be an easy decision to make. A Doc that my wife had used, stopped taking both Medicare and Insurance last year. -

Never heard of that before. I do know that employees normally pay extra for spouses if the spouse is eligible for coverage through their own employer. -
You are welcome. Let us know which one you get and how you like it. I would really like to receive feedback on the Optimus if you decide to purchase that one.

A big thanks to him and his family. If he has a wife, tell her if she has any computer problems that I will help her out for free.

Mine neither. Unemployment is still really high and most of those that found jobs or working for a lot less pay. I really think that all of the manufacturing jobs that we have lost is a major part of the problem. (3.5 million over the last 10 years for the 100 largest metro markets). Another interesting statistic is that China's unemployment rate went from 10.1% in 2004 to 4% in 2009. It's pretty hard for an American worker to compete with a Chinese worker that makes $1 an hour or less.

I think that both terms mean the same thing - you got WiFi baby!

Another reason to read them is to make sure you attend the funeral for anyone you know. Otherwise, they might not come to yours when you die. (Yep. I stole that one from Yogi).

Maybe "melonist" is the proper term? Based on my experience, I don't think any of the melons are that smart. I mean there is no comparing them to something like a cucumber or tomato.

How are you getting that rate? The least expensive package on their website now is $100 for the first 2 years and then it goes up. You must be grandfathered in or something. Also, I could not live with just basic cable or the slowest internet speed that they offer. I think the pricing between ATT uVerse and Comcast is about the same. The only difference to me is that ATT seems to have customer service people with an IQ higher than that of a retarded cantaloupe.

You can also use them to find upcoming estate sales.

I may be a freak as well when it comes to this. I read the obits for even the people I do not know. To me, it's sort of the equivalent of stopping on the side of the road when a funeral procession passes by. I feel like I'm showing honor to them as I read about their life. Pretty weird huh?

New internet service not making good impression thus far....

I have always had a positive experience with ATT and I wish I could say the same for Comcast. Setting up a new ATT modem is pretty simple since they provide a setup disk that walks you through the process. If the installer does not show up, you could always ask them to overnight the modem and do it yourself. If you need help, I have found their tech service very competent and usually pretty fast. -
I'm sure the author of the article is a fine writer when he is somewhat familiar with the particular subject he is writing about. In this case he wasted his time and mine. He should have chosen to respond to the proposal that was communicated today, but he never even mentioned one of the proposals, nor did he even provide a link to the letter that contains the proposals which is here. Instead he tries to label the concept as left wing socialism. The last time I checked, most socialist seemed to be in the anti free speech camp and this dude wants to join them but he is so ignorant he does not e
