Google has plenty of room on their page to list all of these special days. I'm not sure why they did not take that approach.

Actually there is a 250GB limit in the agreement. The link below is to a PDF document on the Comcast website. https://www.comcast....or_Internet.pdf

Net neutrality in my mind is all about an ISP not discriminating against a certain type of data bit and I am totally in favor of it. If you believe they should be able to discriminate, then to be consistent you should also believe that it is acceptable for the electric company to place restrictions on how you use electricity as well as the gas and water companies doing the same thing. We currently pay these three utility companies for the amount of their products we consume and I think it would be reasonable for the ISP's to do the same. It is not reasonable for the electric company to limit m

I had to ask considering some charge almost $20 just for the domain for a year. Godadd'y price would be around $40 for the domain and 5 addresses for a year without any special deals that they sometimes offer. You have a great price.
-
Excellent! Does that include a domain name as well as the email service?

I hear ya and that is something I had not thought about. In that case, it would be perfectly acceptable to send an email to friends and acquaintances from a personal account. However, spamming the world is not acceptable.

This is one of the indications that I use to determine whether an email is legit or not. If it is really from a large company, you will not see an AOL, Yahoo or insert another free email service here. For small mom and pop businesses, it does not raise as many flags with me. By the way, it is pretty inexpensive ($30-$40/year) to have an address that is unique to your business name.

About 10 years back, my neighbors house burned down because of this. I just cleaned ours out last week.

Good question. Before yesterday I would have said no. Also, YouTube would have never survived and is still at risk today.

The nightmare continues. Somebody wake me up please. Surely with Obamacare everyone's vision will improve and this will not be necessary. -
Circumventing copy protection is illegal per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), so you are breaking the law by using the four programs to make copies. You are a criminal along with lots of other folks, except me of course, (I'm not confessing to a crime on a public message board). Fair Use laws, and the Audio Home Recording Act state that it is legal to copy media you have purchased for purposes of creating a backup or replacement. Taken together, it seems that it is only legal to make a backup of media that is not copy protected. Exemptions to the circumvention laws are revised

It has to do with where the site is hosted. If they are off shore, there's no way to shut them down.

I can watch him do the same scenes over and over and still laugh each time. A very talented guy that will be missed.

Glad to know we have someone geeky enough on the government payroll to do this, if in fact we did it. http://news.cnet.com...l#ixzz16c6jOzh4

Sorry GT, but this example does not pass a basic logic test since not all homosexuals have betrayed their country nor has every person that betrayed us been a homosexual. Back up and punt again.

You are right and she see's me little enough as it is. This would be much better than a beehive. Let us know when he's finished with it and get ready for lots of visitors! Actually, Microsoft has something similar already. I remembered when this was on the drawing board a few years back, but I did not know that it was available now for $12,500. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kTH3LEOVUs A funny parody from when Microsoft first announced it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZrr7AZ9nCY

I'm not even sure that site owners should be held responsible for violations of the law if they were not the one that uploaded the content. The users are the ones that are responsible in my mind. I think this is the equivalent of shutting down a phone company because a customer read copyrighted material over the phone or closing down the post office because they transported illegal goods. The same argument could be used about Limewire and other file sharing services which simply provide the software that enables file sharing. Limewire was recently ordered to shut down by a court order.

I have mixed emotions about this. While I believe that the legitimate owner of media and intellectual property should expect protection from thieves, I'm not really comfortable with this approach. Per the article it appears that some sites were shut down before the owners were contacted and given the opportunity to respond to any accusations. This would not happen in a physical brick and mortar store. Officials might show up with the intent of shutting a store down, but the owner would at least be able to explain before the closure took place. (I did not put this in the political forum bec

Willie Nelson Charge with Marijuana Possession

I wonder how many illegals crossed the boarder while they were dealing with Willie. -
I love it. If she has any money, I'm betting an attorney could be found to file the suit.
-
Wow - glad he's okay. The pictures should be required viewing for all.

1. Woke up at 8am. 2. Put my slippers on and made coffee. 3. Fired up the computer, found the best deal on 3 big ticket items and placed the order. 4. Done by 9am.
