I soooo hope she doesn't do much damage. It is bad enough that we have to fight the speculators and now we get to add a hurricane into the mix.

I am wondering if I am the only one thinking that this hurricane that is coming through the Gulf of Mexico is all the "powers that be" will need to jack gas prices back up on us again. I am really hoping this will not be the case, but my gut instinct tells me different. Sooo many families are already struggling and if gas prices go back up to where they were in 9/08 many that I will be at a stand still. What do you all think?

Prayers are being said for you, the kids, their mother and anyone else involved in this situation. The family is fortunate to have you in their lives. Would you please pm the names of the kids and what schools they attend? I'd like to know if they attend my school and if so, I will put the counselors on alert for them.

How expensive are they for their alterations? I've got a couple of pairs of work pants that I need hemed.

Hubby took our youngest and he said it was really nice. We had never gone before so we have nothing to compare it to. I look foward to going next year. It was hard for both of us to go because of our committment to help with the GIBC that our son's school/band was hosting. Thanks to everyone that did participate.

Good Morning Pcom. I've been up for a while. The youngest one had me up at 5:30. If anyone is looking for something to do today there is a Hiram High is hosting a band competition, there is a cheerleading competition at East High, and of course Trick or Treat Village at Paulding Meadows. Band of Gold performs an exhibition at 9 tonight. I'm not sure what Paulding County bands will be competeing in this....North always attends this. I'll be working at the Band competition while hubby takes our Princesses to Trick or Treat Village.

I know that Hiram won and that PCHS won. How did South, North and East do? Congrats Hiram and PCHS!!!! Both teams have struggled in the past and are due some wins.

I am sorry you are sad. The loss of a parent is one that I don't think you can ever get over or completely understand until you experience it. I agree about giving you mom a hug and a kiss.
