spaghetti for us tonight

what area of town do you work in?

I am ready to go back as well. I have sooo much that I could be doing, but it is all at school. I am also curious as to how much damage has been done to my school. I can easily see the water seeping in under the door that goes outside from my classroom. I miss my kids and my co workers. Talking to co workers on FB is nice, but it is not the same as being there with them.

Blairs Bridge is still flooded/closed. We were able to take 92 from 278 all the way to I 20. I 20 is shut down, 78 is shut down, Fairburn Rd/166 is shut down so getting to Fulton Ind.Blvd is basically impossible.

So all of 92 is open? Hubby will have to get out to Fulton Ind.Blvd tonight for work. It took him 2 hours to make a 30-45 min trip this morning.

I live just down from 278/61 and our's has been turned off. I have no idea as to how long. It would be nice to know though.

I'm here. My yard is flooded but our home is fine.

Many of the teachers where I teach are having to deal with flooded basements. I can tell you, they probably won't be there and getting subs to come in won't be easy either.

I do and mine is still working for now. Lord, I hope it doesn't stop on me now...that is the only way the school has to get in touch with me if they do decide to close schools tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering about him when the Band of Gold performed tonight. Please keep me updated. Tell him that he is in the thougts and prayers of many of the other band kids. If there is Anything I can do, please let me know. I hope they are able to keep him in as little pain as possible.

What was the deal with not stopping the clock?????? Not that I am complaining after last week's game against Cass. I must say that I was HIGHLY impressed with both the Hiram and Northgate bands tonight.They both sounded Wonderful and were very upclass with the way they supported each other. Neither performed their shows (HHS had a lot of kids out sick tonight) and both had on their show shirts with jeans but they still took turns playing their show tunes on the track for each other. It seems that their son, my ex, has apparently gotten divorced for the 2nd time and it looks as if my son will be their only grandchild. Their contact has came almost 12 years after they first chose not to have anything to do with this child once we split. My almost 16 year old son is taking his time on contacting them. IMO, when it rains is when it stinks the worse. Kind of like...the rain brings the poop to the surface. I sooo feel for the people that live in that area and the kids at HHS that have to change classes and smell the nasty air. I agree, it is not as bad as it once was.

What is going on? It was closed near the bridge when I left to take my son to high school this morning and it is still closed. The intersection at 61/Academy Dr-Vernoy Aiken is a mess. I felt sooo sorry for the officer that is trying to direct traffic there.
