Actually, my hubby does a very good job at this once we go to bed...well, the 2 nights a week that we get to sleep together due to his work hours. He is also an awesome cook and helps out with our kids.

I just called them and was told that they have put down salt at all the intersections, there are no reports of accidents on the major roads,and that the maid roads are clear. They did emphasise to be careful and senseable. This whole mile marker 11 on 92 is going to drive me crazy til I find it.

honestly...don't send him this weekend...make it up another time. IMO, the roads are just tooo dangerous. If your son has already been sick, he doesn't need to be out in this cold. From what the weather forcasts are saying....it is suppose to warm up this next week. Heck, if your ex has the 18th off, you could be nice and let your son stay an extra day to make up for this weekend and reward your ex for working with you this weekend....just a thought.

DH got home from work (not far from the campcreek/fulton ind blvd area) at around 4 this morning. He said 278 is in decent shape but all of the side roads are pure ice. Don't even try to come on Academy/Vernoy Aiken Dr under the silver comet trail bridge...he said that is a complete sheet of ice big time. Please be careful if you go out.

I have gotten notice that Hickory HIghts Child Development Center/Hickory HIghts Baptist Church is closed tomorrow.

He and our daughter have just had a real matter of fact about the fact. But he has not offered up what the offenses were. I agree that it does make a difference to me as to what he served time for. Thanks for your help everyone. I will see what I can do.

Hubby and I were Cub Scout leaders for the Pack in Clarkdale in the early 2000s....say 02,03,,04ish. We did Cub/Boy Scouts up until 2 yrs ago when our son started high school and just ran out of time between marching band and honors classes. I still have a dream that he will Eagle...he still has 2 yrs to do such. Good luck in your adventure.

How do I go about finding out what someone, who has told us he served time for 2 felonies, served the time for/what his offenses were? He served time in AL. Our oldest daughter has gotten involved with such a person and we are simply trying to protect her. TIA

That is a really cool story. I met my birthfather in May before I turned 26...that was 13 yrs ago. We were kept apart due to decisions that my mom made when I was born and the fact that he used all of his leave from the USAF trying to save their marriage, never dreaming he would need it to keep me in his life.
