When is a good age to start potty training at night? My youngest is 3.5 yo and we have taken away the pullups at night with very little success of a dry night. Are we expecting too much from a little one of this age? If so, then when would you suggest trying to potty train for night time. For the record, she has been day time potty trained for over a year and can take naps for 2 hours or so and stay dry. TIA

I am nearly 40 years old and I still call before I go over to my dad's and I knock before I enter his house. He often motions or hollers for us to come on in. Regardless, it is called respect.

I just knew he would move when Mom died last Sept but he quickly informed me that I would be the one to clean out that house and deal with selling it once he dies. He made sure I understood that with no questions. Almost everyone that lives around my parents' home has moved so I know about parents moving as soon as their kids graduate from MHS all too well.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, my Dad still lives in the same house that I grew up in. The fact that he is retired and 5min away is my reason for asking this. No since in spending gas and time when my dad will take care of it for me and I can meet him on my side of town tomorrow evening.

We sat around some Dalton Band parents/kids and got the same response once I said something about what our kids endured this week. They were all amazed that our kids overwhelmingly voted to go to the competition. I simply explained to them that we have Awesome kids in the Band of Gold. Not a single one of them said a word to me about me and my obnoxious cow bell once they knew why we were sooo proud of them. I really hope their accomplishments at the competition are annouced at HHS tomorrow...the kids deserve it.

Yes, Our kids are the Best. Lizzie did an amazing job last night. It is obvious to even the judges that she does much more than just stand up there and direct music. Way to go Lizzie!!!

Thanks. I know that since my little one was born in Cobb county, I can go to the health dept on County Services rd and get a copy of it. I am just wondering if my dad can get it since he lives 5 min from there instead of me who lives 40 min from there. I've got to have it by Tues and really don't want to take time off work for something like this.

Does a birth parent have to be the one to go to the health dept to get this for a minor child? I need to get a copy of my daughter's for daycare purposes, but my dad lives Much closer to where I would go to get it. I'm wondering if they will allow him to get it or if it has to be me or my husband?

These kids were absolutely AMAZING last night!!!! They put on one of the best performances that I have seen all year....I've seen them all and most of the practices. I have heard,not confirmed, that the Band of Gold took 2nd place over the entire competiton...only Grand Champions were announced. Regardless, they are my Champions for doing all that they have done this week for each other and Jordan's family. I just can not say enough good about the Guard/Band kids in the Band of Gold.

She was a freshman trombone player. I can't tell if you can see her or not, but yes..she was playing and performing in that video. Thank you for the prayers. The kids Really need them. Thank you.

The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Jordan was a valuable member of the Band of Gold. My son told me a short bit ago that the Band will be wearing black ribbons in her Honor at tomorrow's game and Sat.'s competition. To the family, if you need Anything, Please let the Band of Gold know. We are here for you. Jordan was very special to us.

Sept 27 was the 1st anniversary of my mom's death. I talked to my dad about it, I'm an only child, and we decided to go pick out some flowers together and put them on her grave. I thought of the day more of a celebration....she has been able to spend the last year with no pain, no meds, no ivs or pic lines...in peace. Don't get me wrong, we all miss her VERY much here, but none of us would have her back for a second if she had to be in the same condition she was in when she passed.

Thank you to you and your son for the sacrifice that you both are making. I can not imagine being in your shoes.

Is this true of all Waffle Houses in PC? Many teachers will be looking for a place to eat lunch at tomorrow. It would be nice to direct them in a safe direction.
