  1. I do not post on here often, but I have kept up with your story about Alyssa. You guys and she have been in my prayers. As I sat and read this story, I had tears rolling down my face. God does answer prayers and I am so glad you guys have some sense of relief for the time about her well being....so freaking amazing!
  2. Last year I found the same deals online that most places had in person for Black Friday (and sometimes even better one...most were free shipping as well). I am much happier sitting on my tuchy with computer in one hand and coffee in the other!
  3. Second the Spot Shot. They have it a Walmart, Publix, Kroger. Great stuff, works better than anything I have ever found.
  4. We are joining them tonight! We do not live in a neighborhood/subdivision and my kiddos love to join their friends each year for this night. Thank goodness All I Hear and Trixie or so gracious!

    ob/gyn

Totally agree with this one. Lewann is amazing...I have seen her for the last six years.
  6. I use Lunesta at night, every night! It is the only way I am able to get any deep sleep. Otherwise I wake up every 30-45 minutes through the night. The Ambien extended release worked the best for me, but the insurance on it went outrageous, so I use the Lunesta now. It works pretty well and has for over a year now. I never wake up feeling completely rested, but at least I am able to function (for a while, I had a hard time with everything). Good luck.
  7. I use it. It helps sometimes, sometimes it does not. I only use it when I hurt so bad that my muscles are tied in knots. Lyrica had HORRIBLE side effects. Honestly, I try to get lots of sleep and pay attention to what my body is telling me. I take Ibuporfen (800mg) each day, and it does help (more than the Lyrica or Cymbalta ever did). Good luck, it sucks to have this.
  8. We are looking at going to this plan. It will be a good bit cheaper for my family. We can use our AT&T phones for it. I was wondering if anyone on here used it and if you had been pleased with the service or had issues. Thanks
  9. Ehhhh, I am not liking it so far....it is definitely no Big Brother!

    Revenge

Yes, this week is the season finale. I can only imagine the cliffhanger they will pull on it~! UGH!
  11. Phillip all the way...AND it ticked me off the other night when Joshua got a standing O from the judges on his song but Phillip KILLED it on his and no standing O. The judges have been really over the top showing who they want to win this season. I was glad to see Holli go, she has a great voice, but just not much stage presence, she kind of bored me when she was on stage.
  12. Dr. Fraker moving from SPHS principal to EPHS principal Gary Plunkett new Austin Principal from Moses as AP Jayneath Hayes new McClure Principal from Dobbins as AP Brett Taylor new EPMS Principal from NPHS AP Mr. Ingram from EPMS will be going to NPHS as an AP
  13. If you liked Hunger Games, then you need to read "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. It is another YA series (the second one comes out in June). Excellent book, I liked it as much (maybe even a tiny bit more) as the Hunger Games.
  14. Folks, there has to be time for the school to investigate...there were 30 or more students plus multiple "witnesses" who had to be spoken to and interviewed. Chances are before the end of the week, consequences will be given. Just remember, we may have no idea what the punishments are as there are privacy laws that prevent the school from speaking about specific discipline issues. Just stay calm and let the school do what they need to do. No punishment is going to make everyone happy, but I have no doubt that there will be consequences given.
  15. Coverage is the lead story on Channel 2 news tonight at 11.
  16. While I "get" it and do feel horrible that some of these kids will forever have their lives changed due to this decision...it does not abdicate them of their responsibility and if the cost is anywhere near what was heard...then this was no small little senior prank! It was complete and total destruction of property. I feel horrible for the parents and what they are going through, but I do not back down from my question of how did 30 or so kids manage to be out at 2am???? I know some of the kids involved and I hate that they are going to have to deal with this, but there are consequences f
  17. It wasn't just boys, girls were participants as well. And I have the feeling the police were called thus their ability to get there and actually catch the kids (too bad a call was not made earlier in order to prevent it at all). I heard the damage was estimated at about $40,000 for clean up (no idea if this is the case or not, but any amount of MY TAX dollars being spent to clean up is an issue), overtime for the clean up, etc...they are having to give teachers more furlough days next year and yet here the kids are causing more money to go out the door. AND by the way....how the HE**
  18. Where did you see the list of who was arrested?
  19. I LOVE Phillip....hope to see him go far.
  20. As someone who has previously worked in a school AND broken up fights....there are times when students NOT actually involved in a fight will block teachers and admin from getting to the fight to break it up. I actually had three kids block me one day and refuse to move to let me get over there. Soooooo, those kids were also punished...they KEPT the fight and disorder going. And again, there are usually two sides to every story with the truth of it being somewhere in the middle.
  21. You can find them all on youtube already....a contest to vote on your favorite, they are all there.
  22. White Chicken Chili....it was yummy..even the kids liked it!
  23. I saw it tonight as well and loved it! Plan to get the soundtrack ASAP!
