If you're in the mood for Italian, there's a place west of Pier Park just past the Splash Resort called the Pasta Grill Restaurant. The owner/cook is truly Italian and does prepare some great dishes. Next door he has a pastry shop that is to die for. Hunt's is the BEST place in Bay county for Oysters. Don't let the long wait fool you. It's worth it, and the ladies will love to shop at the guy's stand (cheap stuff) that he has right in front of Hunt's to kill the time. Bayou Bill's Crab House is good and they have huge portions. When in fact, his own press secretary said Obama receives 'written' updates, as in 1970's style type-written on page, of security briefings.
