I thought we had too much candy. We had 120 packets (1 per kid) in the first bowl and it was gone before 6:00. We must have had over 500 kids come by. We ran out of candy and had to turn out the lights early.

I wouldn't attend any church where the pastor sponsors speech that plays off of profanity. Not the kind of church or religion that I would want to be associated with. Seems more and more churches are lowering themselves to the lowest common denominator.

NJ Governor has officially postponed Halloween to next Monday night - at least in NJ. Other affected states are expected to follow his lead. So are we still celebrating today, or this weekend???

I think it's a bit much to receive political calls from out of state candidates.

Hmmm. Someone or something stuck a "Eat more chicken" sign into the cow. Need to watch out for chickens on a rampage...

It's bad this week (just like in the Spring) since the European nations changed their time last week and the time difference confuses everyone for the whole week.

Strap the crippled one to the building and tower, disconnect it and put a new crane on the top and then use it to lower the old one down.

Those affected areas may have to go to paper ballots. The real issue is whether people in the northeast will get out and go vote. It does have Obama concerned.... -
Let's hope he was drunk and not having some sort of palsy attack.

And if it's a local Paulding County tag, or one of those habitual violators that you see day after day, a quick call to *GSP to report a car weaving on the road that you suspect is either drunk or possibly having a seizure usually does the trick.

Even though the employer pays the Unemployment Insurance, it really is part of the overall employee's salary package. Just the the employer's half of the SS tax, or federal income tax, and health insurance, etc. Most employees only think about the net amount they take home. Looks like Sandy is getting ready to spew all over Jersey. Hmmmm, something else that doesn't like Jersey Shore...

If someone gets stuck in an Exit Only lane and wants to get over, it will depend on if they have an out of state tag. Too many of the same individuals ride the merge lane until the last possible moment and then complain when someone won't let them merge over. During morning commutes you'll see the same individuals speed down the right lane and expect everyone to get out of their wa

If she is being laid off she could receive unemployment insurance benefits. If she is being fired she could receive unemployment insurance benefits after a penalty period. If she refuses employment and quits, she is not entitled to unemployment insurance benefits.

Very little damage was done down here by the hurricane. Luckily, thanks to President Obama's economic policies, many of the businesses down in Florida were already boarded up.

When I worked at an Atlanta chemical company the formula for stainless steel cleaner and furniture polish was exactly the same - only the label (and the sales price) were different. FYI.

Some people who are in the merge lane don't realize they are supposed to yield as they merge - not, 'look out here I come!'

Why don't police hang out where accidents happen a lot

A variant... "Hey man, if I speed, and don't use turn signals, and pass on a double yellow line, how far will I be able to go?" "All the way to the scene of the crash. I bet you'll beat the cops by half an hour." -

If LE targeted an area where increased accidents are occurring, the area would just move to a location where the LE aren't. -
